If you haven't already, you should read the first part

It was a tough choice, but you decided to go. You were deciding whether or not to go to home coming or not. Yes you missed your old school, but you were nervous about seeing Aaron again. After the last day of school, he had tried to call you multiple times, but you didn't want to talk to him. Sure you still texted each other, but your friendship had never been as strong as it used to be. One day, he texted you and tried to ask if you were okay after what happened, but you didn't answer. After that, he never really asked how you were doing emotionally, and it hurt to know that he had given up on you.
You were texting your friend Ava and told her you were coming.
"OMG I can't wait to see you!" she said
"Ya, me neither!" You replied
"Are you and Aaron okay?" she asked
You didn't reply at first, but then you texted back "Ya were good..."
"Okay...Well see ya there buddy!"
"Okay bye." you replied
You walked out to your car and got in the front seat. You sat there for a minute, wondering if this was the right choice. Then you decided it was. You grabbed the wheel and drove to the school
*****
By the time you got to the school, the top of your convertible was down. You were wearing your aviators and your hair was blowing in the wind. You felt so free as the wind passed through your hair. 'Its summer,' You thought 'Who gives a crap!'
When you pulled up to the school, you were booming your favorite song and immediately, everyone was looking at you, but you didn't care. You could see, out of the corner of your eye, Ava and all your old friends were walking towards your car. You got out and a bunch of them came and hugged you. When everyone was done, Aaron came up to you and without a word, he pulled you into his embrace.
"I missed you." He whispered into your ear
You pulled away and looked up at him. You could tell he was looking at your hair. It was shorter and was up to your shoulders, and it had copper red streaks. "Wow," he said staring at you. "You look..." "Different?" you said interrupting him mid-sentence. You walked away, leaving him standing there. He ran after you "Y/N, wait!" he shouted.
"What do you want?" you said turning around. You looked into his big blue eyes, those eyes that you have loved for so many years, but not anymore.
"y/n, I know your still mad at me, but I've changed, and so have you." He said quickly eyeing you up. You started to walk away, but he grabbed your arm. "Please, can't we just set aside our differences and start over?" he said, his eyes full of plea. You looked at him, then you rolled your eyes. "Fine, I'll give you one night. If you can get me to fall for you tonight, I'll forgive you." you said raising an eyebrow. Aaron smiled, like this was the easiest challenge he had ever gotten.
"Alright," he said smirking. "Its a deal." he said holding out his hand. You took it and shook it reassuringly.
"Deal."
