It's a little bit funny

Secret Admirer

It was a normal Monday, that first day of school back from spring break. You hated Monday's, it was probably the worst day of the week. That first day of the week that told you that you had four more days of jail until you could go home for the weekend.

But today wasn't any ordinary Monday

"Hey Aaron, come check this out!" you shouted to your best friend Aaron whose locker was right next to yours. He walked over to you and peered over your shoulder to see a letter in your hands. 

"Who's it from?" he asked, looking a little confused. "I don't know. I haven't opened it yet." In that moment, Aaron grabbed the letter from you and opened it quickly. "Hey! Aaron give it back!" you shouted. "No! I wanna read it!"

Aaron opened the letter and started to read it as if he were Shakespeare

I have admired you from a distance for some time now, but some how, I feel so close to you. Maybe it's because we're closer than you think. Y/n, you are so much more beautiful than you realize. I would tell you who I am, but that would take the fun out of it. I will always love you.

Aaron started laughing "Well, I know what your doing this week!" He handed you the letter and walked away laughing. This kind of hurt you feelings. You've sort of started to have a crush on Aaron, but it was clear that he didn't feel the same.

Over the course of the next few weeks, you started to get more and more letters. Sometimes, if you didn't get a letter, you would get a little gift in your locker. Aaron had told you that he knew who it was, so you decided to send your 'secret admirer' a letter back.

"I'd like you to give this to...whoever my S.A. is." you said as you held out the letter. "its a letter telling him that I'm not interested." Aaron took the letter and looked down at it. "And why's that?" he asked looking at you. You paused. "Because...I like someone else..." You looked down at the ground. You could hear Aaron opening the letter frantically. 

"AARON WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" you shouted trying to take the letter from him, but he had already started to run. You chased after him, but then he stopped in the middle of the hall way. It was too late. he had seen it. 

"Dear Secret Admirer, I appreciate how much you care about me, but I can't except all of this," Aaron read out loud. "I'm not used to having an admirer, or really anyone love me, but I can't leading you on like this. You see, for the longest time, I have been in love with my best friend. Now, I know that sounds weird, but its true. He has always been there for me no matter what. I think you know him, because he says he knows you pretty well. His name is Aaron, and I would love it if you would keep this a secret between us. Thanks for understanding. Your good friend, y/n." Aaron looked up from the letter to find you with tears in your eyes. 

"y/n, I didn't know..." you sniffed and wiped away a tear. Aaron walked up to you and hugged you. "Hey, it's okay...I won't tell him." You thought about what he said for a moment, than you pulled back a little at the realization that... "It's you!" you said looking up at him. Aaron leaned down and kissed you. You kissed him back. 

You pulled away from his embrace. "How long?" you asked him

Aaron took your hands and held them "As long as I can remember."
