Sam
They were hitting roadblocks at every turn. First, Nate and Sam's boat was attacked not only by the weather, but also by Shoreline mercs. Now, Nathan and Sam had found themselves cornered by none other than the hardass militant woman, Nadine Ross. They both knew she would kill without rhyme or reason, though they assumed it would be only at the request of Rafe. Sam and Nate were both a prized commodity, and whether Rafe liked it or not, he needed them.
Sam heard the commotion down below him. Nadine had Nate pinned down under her boot, her gun pointing at his head as her free hand came back to cock the gun.
"Trust a Drake? Hm. I'm not falling for that again." Nadine said through a smile, like she had the upper hand.
"Hey-hey-hey, let's just talk about this-" Nathan's stall was cut short by Sam plummeting through the weakened flooring, his hands pushing into Nadine as her body fell to the ground. Sam took a nasty left boot to the jaw from Nadine before she brought herself to standing in a tense fighting stance.
The woman was an absolute beast as she noticed Nate cocking a gun and pointing it at her and she speared him through a wooden door. Luck would have the better of them as they began rolling down a slope before crashing down into another building through its roof. The gun dropped through a hole in the floor as Nadine went to grasp the gun with her hand. A heavy breath escaped her as she slowly began standing.
"Okay... that was a bit ... rougher than expected. I'll just, ah, see myself out." Nathan's sense of humor not escaping hun even in the midst of pain and peril.
"After everything...you think I'm just going to let you walk away?" Nadine said through clenched teeth as Sam jumped down to meet the dueling parties.
"That'd be the wise thing to do." Sam said, his eyes glued to the tiring woman. Nadine didnt budge as she began encircling the men, her boots heavily hitting the weakening wood of the house they careened into.
"Oh, come on Nadine. Really? We know you're a badass and all but there's two of us." Nathan sighed out. She was not about to give up and let them walk.
"You don't think my men are on their way here right now? All I have to do is buy some time...that's if I dont finish you myself."
"Goddammit." Nate sighed out as the men began preparing for an onslaught of pummels and punches.
Nadine was able to, once again, kick Nathan hard enough that he flattened against a warped wall which gave out and caused him to fall out of the towering building. Sam was left to take punches and kicks from Nadine as Nate struggled his way back into the home through a hole in the roof. Nathan scales the exterior of the building before looking down below him. Nadine was delivering harsh blows to Sam's face and midsection as Nate dropped himself onto her, the floor exploding under the sudden weight.
Nathan and Nadine came to rest on their stomachs as they faced a rather beautiful scene. Nate didn't fully appreciate it as there was a murderous mercenary group chasing him, however, he took a breath of island air as he began lifting his battered body off the high cliff edge.
His eyes caught a beautiful sight - the silver gun was laying a good five feet away from him as he began crawling towards it. Nadine rose to her feet quicker than Nate was able to move towards the gun, her boot connected with his chest, hard, causing him to roll onto his back and grab his injured ribs.
Luckily for Nathan, Sam saw the gun too and was able to take hold of it as he dove for it. He immediately pointed the gun at Nadine and she froze as he laid on his side.
"You're fast...but you're not that fast." Sam said as he pushed himself to stand before Nadine with his free hand, the gun never veering from pointing at her head. Nathan stood, his arm wrapping around his injured midsection. "Hey. Forget about her we gotta get out of here before they -- shit."
