In the aftermath of one of Tony Stark's experiments, a girl's life changes forever. After being sent to an alternate universe, unable to return, Y/N has to cope with the challenges of her new reality—and the changes that go with it.

She soon discovers that this alternate reality isn't as foreign as she once thought. Almost every detail about it mirrors her own, except for one thing...

Peter Parker.

He was this universe's spider-themed hero, and she despised him. He was a living reminder that there were a million alternate universes in which she never even existed. He was Spider-Man, and she was Spider-Girl.

Having no one to rely on, her instability had been on a steady rise.

Of course, she would never let that show. She feigned complete control over herself and her mental state—which couldn't be further from the truth.
