Chapter 7 (Affections)

It had been already 5 days passed I left Charlie’s house.I hadn't seen yet Henry & Cher.

John had returned from his vacations.I was tied up with my workload.

I had no idea about Madison.I mean what she was doing.One day I was in a meeting with one of my client.

The office phone rang.

I picked it up.

I got shocked when I heard Charlie’s Voice.

I asked my client to postpone that meeting.Afterall Charlie is more important to me than any other things in the world.

I asked Charlie, “Charlie!! Why you called to this number!! ”

He said, “ Wait! Wait first listen to me before you hang up the call.It’s really important.”

I asked surprisingly, “Is everything alright?”

He said, “No!! First thing my phone is no more.I mean it was broken by Henry.”

I said, “What!!! But why!!”

He continued, “Can you just come here.I need to talk to you now.It’s important.We can't talk over phone "

I didn't question further why.I said, “ Yeah I am just coming.”

I reached Charlie's.I was too nervous thinking what's wrong! I rang the bell.Charlie opened the door.I entered the hall.He asked me to have a sit.He then sat near me & called Madison.

I got sure that Madison made some mistake & Charlie wants to remove her.But what about his phone!!!.

I stopped thinking.Madison came with a mask on her face covering the nose.

I asked, “What happened Madison.”

Charlie said, “Just wait!! Let me call Henry & Cher "

He called them.They came with Charlie's Mother,mrs Debra Puth.I got surprised when I saw mom.

I stood up & said hello to her.She smiled.She sat near Charlie.Henry & Cher were standing so numb with there hands tied.

I guessed something had happened wrong.

Charlie asked Madison to remove her mask.

When she removed her mask I shouted, “What the Fuck.Oh God” & stood up.

She had deep scars on her cheeks.She had a bleeding nose with stitches.

Charlie said, “Yes!! Falguni Yes!! & you know who did it!!!”

I looked at Charlie.He pointed his finger towards Henry & Cher.

I surprised & asked, “What!! But why?”

He said, “From the day Madison came here,Henry & Cher wanted to fire her out.They don't like her.Some days passed in sweet & sour but yesterday night was so terrible.

From the first day these Idiots made trouble for her.Whatever She told them to do,They just denied to do so & when they came to know that you suggested her to leave here, Cher started yelling.She got angry.When I tried to cool’em up with some rhymes from YouTube, Henry broke my phone "
He shouted in anger.

“ And what about yesterday night!!!” I asked with little fear.

Because I never saw Charlie getting this much anger before.

He repeated angrily, “A Ahhh I just forget to say this.”

He looked towards Henry & Cher & asked them, “You guys will explain or I will continue”.He shouted .
