Chapter 8 (Confusion)

After 2 days Charlie called me.

Whenever he calls me I feel everything just like heaven.Everything around me turns into fairyland.

Its just like rose petals falling down from the sky.

Small tinkerbell flying around me.The  maple leafs  falling down.

Just like heaven.

Whatever I received the call.

He said, “Hey Falguni!! How are you doing !”

I replied, “Nothing much!! Just missing two kids”

I laughed.

He said, “Can I ask you for something?”

I said, “Yeah of course”.

He said, "Can you come to mine.Actually I wanna tell you something & I am so sorry I am bothering you so much! "

I wondered what.

I said, “ Never Mind.Ok !! but is it urgent?”

He said, “Yeah but you can come whenever you want & please come with John.”

I said, “Ok”.

I thought let see what happened again.

I asked John to come with me.

We both drove to Charlie.

Me & John were sitting on the sofa.

Charlie & his mom sitting just in front of us.

I was excited to hear what Charlie was going to announce & nervous too.

Charlie’s mom said, “Dear!! The things I am gonna say may make you confused.But after once I will finish I suggest you to think about it deeply.”

I wondered what's going to happen now.

Charlie said, “Falguni!! How can I tell you this I just can't understand.I don't know How you will react but I have to tell you this because I have no other plans.”

I asked him with a little confusion, “Whoa! whoa!! whoa!!! What? Actually What you wanna say me.”

He came to me & sat near me.I almost started sweating.

I felt like something was going to happen.The way he talked & confused me just fucked my mind.

He looked at me helplessly.

He started saying, “Can you please stay with us? for Henry & Cher.I know this is quite difficult for you,but I don't know what the magic do you have!!Henry & Cher just enchanted by you.They are obsessed with you.They just need you.You know what !! They never had been so free & close to any other in our family like they do with you.You makes them happy & they feel happy with you.First time I saw there deep love & affection for you when you were here for Madison.They had never expressed their feelings to any other not even to their cousin.So,Can you please stay here for them.Please!!! I promise you; You have only to stay with us till they get matured & could do all things for their own”

He Cried.

I didn't have any words.

I just couldn't get that what should I say.

Should I say Yes or No.

If I'll say No then it will be so rude & it will make Charlie sad.But I also couldn't say Yes.

I said, “Charlie!! But I mean I can't say anything right now.I can't take decision so fast.”

He said, “But you have to do it in just one day.Because Mom is leaving tomorrow.Please say Yes”.

I said, “Ok.I will inform you at night.Can I?”

He said, “Yeah sure”.

Me & John left Charlie's house.

I just couldn't stop thinking about Charlie's eyes.

He had too much expectations in them for me.

I thought about numb faces of Henry & Cher.

We reached home.

John went for his other work after dropping me at home.

That day I was too disturbed.I couldn't take a decision.

I was dealing in between ‘Yes’ or  ‘No’.

At evening I was almost slept on sofa.

John woke me up.

I woke up mumbling, “Oh Buddy!! When did you come?”

He answered, “Just now & what about you?It's already evening.You told Charlie to inform him.”

I sat silently.I still hadn't made any decision.

I was just confused about what to say.

The inner me said Yes but I was still confused about my Job.What should I do with them & What about John.He was still a kid to me.How could I leave him alone.

John interrupted me in my thinking saying, “Hey!! What are you thinking about. Aren't you going to say Yes!!”

I looked at him helplessly & astonishingly.

I just wondered John wanted me to say Yes.

He sat near me & asked, “Wait!t!what those expressions mean!! Are you really?”

I said, “John!! Listen to me.Just think about the future.I agree that I love him but I can't make this.I think.”

He shouted angrily, “ You only know how to think & spend rest of your life only thinking about Charlie. Can you imagine!! You just passed 10 years of your life without any love support only for him.And now you are having opportunity to be with him but you are planning to lose it.Just tell me how could you be like this.You waited for him having a dark side & now the darkness is clear but you don't wanna go in.Why!!.Ok!! I am sorry.Just think about deeply what I said.”

He stood up.He kicked the corner of the sofa in hesitation & left.

I sat all the night on the sofa just thinking about my past & Charlie.

I moved all in the hall.

I was really not stable that night.

Really it was too hard to take that decision than it looked before.

Its very easy to think of a better decision but not that much easy to work out with it.

I went to the lawn.l sat on the bench & looked at the twinkling sky.

The night was really peaceful.Those stars were like they want to tell me something.

One face only one face I could see in the sky was Charlie.

I just couldn't remove him from my head & I didn't in last 10 years.

He is an angel to me who only exists on this earth.

Really God had gave me an amazing opportunity to be with him.

But still I was confused.I stood up & went to my bedroom.I thought good sleep can help me to make a decision.

I decided to sleep.
