Let me leave you guys now to enjoy the chapter. 😁😘

Samson's POV

I stormed into my room and abruptly sat down on the bed. I was not in the least way happy. Anita had hurt me really bad, and I wasn't sure I was ever going to speak to her again after this. This was the last of it. I couldn't take anymore insult from her, so I'd rather stay away.

There was a knock on my door, hence, stopping my reverie. I furrowed my brows in perplexity. Who could that be? I waited for another knock, and there was it– another knock.

"Who's there?"

"It's me."

That was definitely Anita's voice. Anita's voice?! I jolted up and rushed to the door. I opened it ajar, and was shocked to actually see it was Anita. What does she want now?

"You? What– what are you doing here?"

"Won't you invite me in?" She said in a calm tone, surprisedly.

"Oh." I chuckled nervously. I had forgotten that I was angry with her. What this girl did to me, I don't know. "Sorry." I sheepishly said, whilst opening the door widely for her to enter.

I shut the door after she was completely in the room. I stood behind her awkwardly. I really didn't know what to do or even what to say to her. I didn't expect her in my room after the quarrel we just had not quite long.

She then turned to look at me. "How are you doing, Samson?" She smiled broadly at me.

Okay, it just got more awkward.

I frowned a bit. "I'm...I'm fine." I swallowed hard afterwards.

"Won't you ask me to sit down?" She nudged me on the shoulder.

Okay, why was she acting so friendly with me. I got even more nervous. Didn't know why though.

"Oh, pardon me. You may have your seat. What can I offer you?" Wait, did I just ask that?

She burst out laughing, and her laughter was contagious, so I giggled. "No, you didn't just ask that. That was so clumsy of you." She suppressed her laughter.

"I know right? I wasn't just expecting to see you here." I sat beside her on the bed, although not so close to her.

Her mood turned serious instantly. "That's why I'm here. I'm so sorry Samson. I know I hurt you and I've hurt you a lot, and...I know I haven't been fair with my treatment towards you. I'm so sorry. Please try to forgive me." She sounded so apologetic.

I was shocked that a whole Anita apologized to me. Was this a dream or reality? I was dumbstruck honestly.

There was a huge silence that engulfed us, before Anita spoke up again.

"Samson, please don't give me the silence treatment. Say something at least. Anything."

I managed to speak. "I– I'm just shocked. I– wait, is this real or I'm dreaming?"

She chuckled. "It's reality Samson."

"Wow!" I took in a deep breath before spilling out words again. "Well, I hold no grudges against anyone, so I forgive you."
