It was finally Friday and the fact that I didn't have no more classes during the week made me feel more excited than the normal. Such was my excitement and tiredness for paying attention through the last periods that I spent the last hour with my phone texting Shindo. Okay, maybe the reason I wasn't paying that much attention wasn't only due to the boring class as it wasn't hero related, but also because it was Shindo who I was talking to making me have to hold back laughter. Which even though I was able to, I wasn't that capable of hiding my smiles, making Ectoplasm stop his lecture to scold me for using my phone during class. I said sorry a bit embarrassed due to all the looks on me and put my phone away until the class ended. And finally we were all free to go, besides I was extremely excited because this weekend we were told we could spend it with our families.

"You looked pathetic when Ectoplasm lectured you" said Bakugo who was now walking by my side "What were you even doing with your phone? You don't have friends to talk to"

I sticked out my tongue making a weird face slightly annoyed by his comment even though he didn't say it to hurt me, he was just stating the truth.

"Well maybe if my best friend wasn't that dumb to get detained about a stupid fight I wouldn't have to find new people to spend time with"

"Oi, are you trying to replace me?" he said with a tone of anger although I knew he wasn't, he was actually more surprised than anything else.

"Of course not, there's no one that can be more stupid than you Katsuki" I said brushing his hair with my hand like if he was a dog making him groan and after some seconds gently slapped my hand out of his head.

We arrived sooner than expected to were we parted different ways, although we lived quite close to each other. It was actually funny because we'd never met each other until we went to the U.A and then realized we were really living almost next to one another.

The same moment I opened the door two arms welcomed me in a sweet and tight embrace.

"(Y/n)! It's been so long" my father said exaggerating sadness.

"Dad it hasn't even been a month since last time" I said smiling, returning his hug. Letting his warmth comfort me. Even if I had told him that I had missed him too.

"I know" he said letting me go, patting the top of my head smiling "but doesn't change the fact that I've missed my little girl"

"I'm already grown, stop calling me that..." I said entering the house a bit embarrassed making him laugh.

"No matter how much you grow (Y/n) you will always be my little girl" I groaned "I bought (f/s) this morning"

My eyes opened filled with joy and happiness at the sight of (f/s). We then sit at the table to eat and talked a bit about what did we do thorough the week. I was listening to him talking about his colleagues while the only thing that my mind was repeating myself was that I wanted to talk to him about Shindo. It was annoying because anything he said would make my mind link it to him in any way, even if it was something stupid my mouth just wanted to speak about him and explain to my father know that I had a new best friend. So, after trying to hold it back and not talking randomly about a person he didn't know I finally slip it out. After having talked about the provisional license exam and the internships we were supposed to do I finally told him I kept in contact with a guy from another school and after that the wave of questions started. 

"And this guy Shindo, which school does he go?" he asked totally cool.

"Ketsubutsu" I answered "Did you know there's something called 'The crashing of the U.A' in the exam? It seems like all schools go against U.A to get rid of us first thing" 

My father shook his head, making me know he didn't have any idea.

"And what happened? How did you manage to get through it?"he asked me, I smiled at him realizing that I had missed our talks more than I thought I did.

"I had already separated from the rest when it happened but it seems that because the U.A was defending well as a big team, Shindo used his quirk and destroyed that part of the land. It was a real pain in the ass because it made everyone confused and he forced them to split up. It was really smart" my father looked at me and smiled "Uhm actually dad, Shindo wanted to play some videogames I have and he also wanted to show me his favorite series. So, uhm, he kind of will come tomorrow?" I said hesitating because for some reason I felt shy about it. He just smiled wider.

"Oh okay. After hearing so much about him I am actually curious" 

I suddenly blushed and looked away feeling strangely weird, but then he changed the subject and the conversation kept going. We had so much to tell each other that before we could even realize it was already dinner time so he ordered some pizzas and then we ate them while we watched (f/mv) and both ended up falling sleep on the couch. However I woke up carefully tucked in my bed. I snuggled against the warm sheets letting my eyes adjust to the sunlight and when I was more aware of my surroundings I grabbed my phone and checked for messages.

Shindo: I'm leaving now, I'll be there in a bit more than 30 minutes.

The little part of my body that was still half sleep awoke all of a sudden. I looked at the time the message had been sent, only 10 minutes ago. I then checked the time and realized that I had actually slept in and in about 15 minutes he'd be here. I stormed out of my bedroom to the bathroom.

"(Y/n)? Are you finally awake?" my father asked from downstairs but he didn't get any answer as I was already showering at a speed that couldn't even be human. I checked the time once I was out of the shower and saw that I still got something more than 5 minutes. 'Please don't be punctual...' I pleaded in my mind. I freshened up a bit more and finally put on some decent shorts and my favorite oversized t-shirt. 

I run down the stairs to the kitchen and gobbled up an almost burnt toast, hoping to eat breakfast as fast as possible, making my father look at me in awe.

"Good morning, you finally wake up" he said, I 'mhm'd him with my mouth full as an answer "I got a call 30 minutes ago. I need to be at work, an emergency. But I'll be back before dinner"

"Oh, it's okay. I'll make your favorite"

He kissed the top of my head leaving the kitchen.

"I can buy some sushi too in the way here if you want" he said from the living room.

I stopped eating my toast, thinking about the sushi and feeling drool already in my mouth. But I shook my head.

"It's okay don't spend the money on that. I'll make dinner"

"Ok then, thank you. By-" he suddenly stopped in the middle of his words making me wonder if something might had happened to him "(Y/n) I think Shindo has arrived"
