I stood up so fast that for a moment I almost trip over the chair choking on the bread. I walked into the living room finding both of them looking at each other.

"Hi, I'm... Shindo" he stuttered a bit realizing that my father already knew, which made me blush because he probably would be wondering how did he know "A pleasure to meet you Sir (Y/ln)"

"Oh no need for such formalities just call me (F/n). Come in" he stepped aside a bit so Shindo could come in. He finally looked at me and both of us blushed a bit "So (Y/n) told me you go to Ketsubutsu"

"Yes sir" he answered him with his charming smile.

I was looking at everything like if it didn't go with me, luckily feeling invisible next to the sofa.

"Isn't it a bit far from here?" my father asked again. 'Was it?' I never really looked up how far it was and Shindo was always the one who came.

"Just a little. But sometimes is worth it. And I distract myself on the way here so time flies fast"

"I see..." my father looked at him for some seconds and then it hit him. He looked at his wrist watch and smiled at me and then at Shindo "As much as I'd love to talk to you a bit more I need to go. Be good both of you" he said and then closed the door behind him.

I looked at Shindo who after looking at the door where my father had disappeared looked at me as well. The environment felt really awkward for some reason and I could feel my cheeks turning redder and redder as the seconds passed and none of us said a word.

"Why didn't you ring the bell?" I finally asked curious.

"I uhm... was going to but then your father opened the door" he stuttered a bit.

I looked suspiciously at him arching a brow but let it go when he smiled at me almost making me forget everything.

"I'm sorry" I said rubbing my eyes, heading to the kitchen, him following me closely "I recently woke up" I started to tidy up all the things from the breakfast.

"It's okay, you look as good as usual so... Although now I know you normally sleep in. It's good to know" he smiled at me sitting at the table.

"Hey I don't always sleep in" I frowned making him laugh.

"Well last time you were late... well actually the time before that, it was because you were napping that you ended up being late as well. Gosh you actually are always late"

I frowned even more, seeming angry although I couldn't be mad because he was right. I still groaned in false disagreement, making him softly laugh.

"It's okay (Y/ln), if you weren't always late you'd be perfect and that'd be unfortunate"

"Shut up 7up"

"Oi that's playing dirty"

I sticked my tongue out to him, feeling less bothered, making him laugh a bit. I approached the table and leaned into it.

"So what game did you want to try first?" I asked.

"That depends, in which one do you want to lose first?" he smirked at me and I laughed at him.

"You are that confident? Do you want to bet? I'm sure I can beat your ass"

Shindo smiled at me for some seconds not saying anything and then smiled wider.
