WILMERS POV

The sushi came and Demi asked the waiter if they had Red Bull and of course they did so she asked for a glass.

WILMER: Red Bull
DEMI: it's so good
WILMER: it's so bad for you
DEMI: I'll live

We ate the sushi and Demi had a couple of Red Bull's and we made small talk. I forgot how hyper Red Bull made her.

There were paps as we were leaving the sushi place so max came and helped demi we tried our best to block her from the flashes.  We got in the car and headed to my house to meet Steph.

When we arrived Steph was already waiting Demi was still really hyper it was amusing. We went inside and Demi went to the kitchen to grab a Red Bull but I stopped her she didn't need another one. Demi say on the couch with Steph and they talked for a while. By the end of there session I could tell Demi was drained I made her some tea for when she was done.

STEPH: hey Wilmer
WILMER: how'd it go
STEPH: she's making progress she talking about recovery but she needs to let the past go she needs to talk about
WILMER: she talked to me a little today about everything during when he had her
STEPH: I want her to talk about before and she doesn't go in depth when talking about the kidnapping I think she needs to talk about it in detail
WILMER: I'm here always I listen to her let her talk
STEPH: I told her that and she seemed opened to the idea
WILMER: I'm here whenever a she ready
STEPH: she had a rough morning and it brought back thoughts I think the best bet for now is to keep her away from hotels and if it's necessary in the future get the quietest room
WILMER: got it
STEPH: I'm meeting her next week at some point I want to it here if that's okay and then the week after I want it be somewhere more public
WILMER: okay well then I'll see yah next week

Stephanie left and I brought Demi her tea and sat down with her.

WILMER: I'll be here when your ready to talk
DEMI: I don't think I can it all at once maybe a little at a time
WILMER: whenever your ready tell me whatever you want okay
DEMI: the first time he hurt me he was drunk and then it became worse and worse and my entire body would be bruised and sore some day's I couldn't get up. I pushed everyone away became depressed I was controlled in a way what I was thinking wasn't my own.
WILMER: why did you push everyone away
DEMI: I loved him a lot I thought he loved me too and he put it in my head that he was the only one I need that I don't need anyone else. When he first raped me I was really scared I thought about leaving but I couldn't I just couldn't if I tried to leave he would hurt me and I said I was going to once and he smashed my head into the counter. There were times when he took me that I I thought about how I should've just left faces the pain and left walked out but I did leave and then he took more for so long I kept track of the days at first then then

Demi was getting herself worked up. I pulled her into me and she started crying it was going to be hard so I knew we would talk little by and eventually she would be able to say it's in the past it's a part of who I am and I'm going to use it to help better myself and help others.

WILMER: shh shh breathe in and out

Demi calmed down soon enough but stayed with her head on my chest.

WILMER: today was a great start dems you did great
DEMI: it's hard so hard
WILMER: I know and it won't get easier but I'll be by your side every step of the way you will be okay
DEMI: the trials in a week
WILMER: do you have to testify
DEMI: yeah
WILMER: I'll be there with you
DEMI: they want me to say everything
WILMER: no one is going to think it's your fault Demi okay
DEMI: what if they don't get convicted
WILMER: there's no way that if you testify they will get off and they caught them in act they know what happened dems
DEMI: I don't want Maddie or Dallas there
WILMER: why
DEMI: they don't need to hear everything
WILMER: I'm sure they will understand

We sat on the couch for a while Demi drank her tea and we watch some crime show Demi was interested in.

I got up to make some dinner and Demi followed behind me. I picked her up and sat her on the counter. When we dated I would cook and she would sit in the counter.

DEMI: I have an appointment soon for a prosthetic
WILMER: when
DEMI: In like two weeks
WILMER: are you excited
DEMI: yeah and nervous it's life changing you know well for me at least
WILMER: what about music what do you want to do with that
DEMI: I want to us some songs I was going to put on it before and there's a lot I have to record now.
WILMER: I heard scooter wants to sign with you
DEMI: yeah tomorrow we are meeting at the studio and signing I already reviewed the contract and I sent it to my lawyers and they said it's all good.
WILMER: what about interviews
DEMI: I don't maybe when I release a single I know I'm going to get questions about everything

I finished dinner which was a simple stir fry. I helped her down and we sat at the table.
