DEMIS POV

I woke up the next morning and felt zero energy. It took everything in me to actually get up out of bed.

HENRI: babe
DEMI: yeah
HENRI: why are you up so early
DEMI: I have to go to the studio
HENRI: have fun

He went back to sleep so I quickly threw on a sweatshirt and jeans. Max and everyone arrived and we headed out to the studio.

JILL: you ate right
DEMI: yeah

Kelsey and Lauren kept glancing at me I should have known Kelsey would have told Lauren about last night. I looked out the window the entire ride. I must have dozed off because next thing I know Kelsey and Lauren were waking me up.

DEMI: where is everyone
LAUREN: they are inside we need to talk
DEMI: about
KELSEY: last night
DEMI: I'm going in
KELSEY; no your not we told max to come back out in about 15 minutes
DEMI: but-
LAUREN: Demi dont argue you know we need to talk

I felt like I was about to cry because if they told my mom shit would go down with Henri then then it would be really bad for me.

DEMI: you better not tell my mom
LAUREN: Demi-
DEMI: promise me
KELSEY: fine but let us see did you clean them

I mean I didn't formally clean them but I jumped in the in shower afterwards that's should be cleaning enough.

DEMI: yeah

I roll up my hoodie sleeve I didn't remember making this many cuts.

LAUREN: Dems
DEMI: I-i guess I lost control
KELSEY: I should've come over
DEMI: no no no I was fine alone
LAUREN: where was henri
DEMI: he went out
KELSEY: oh Demi
DEMI: it's fine I mean there will be other nights
KELSEY: where did he go
DEMI: a bar with James
KELSEY: hold up HE WENT WHERE WITH WHO
DEMI: a bar
KELSEY: why did you call me on your emergency phone
DEMI: he has my phone

LAURENS POV

He's controlling her all over again and I bet we can't tell her mom because he's threatened her.

LAUREN: Demi why did he have your phone
DEMI: I still haven't gotten it back and I don't know I went upstairs yesterday to see if he was okay and he took my phone before he went out.
KELSEY: did you cut anywhere else
DEMI: I-I
KELSEY: it's okay dems

Kelsey pulled Demi into a hug and she just broke down sobs racked her body. I held on to Demi with Kelsey and rubbed her back. I have never seen this bad she seems to have given up to have surrendered to him.

Max came to get Demi but we told him to give her more time. When I first met Demi she was so strong and nothing could bring her down then at Coachella she was pressured into drinking and drugs and then everything went downhill. She then met Henri and now where here. Demi could hardly sit up today she was so weak she was shaky walking earlier.

LAUREN: when was the last time you ate
DEMI: I-i
KELSEY: lets clean you up and then find something to eat

Demi was too weak and tired to argue so we fixed her makeup and went inside. I ordered her food and she went into the studio. Me and Kelsey sat with her while she was writing. The food came and Jill brought in and sat down.

JILL; here honey eat please

Demi looked at the plate which had some fruits and veggies that were light. She stared at it for a long time it was almost like she was scared to eat Jill Kelsey and I all looked at each other. Jill pulled out he phone and texted me a Kelsey.

JILL: it hasn't been this bad in about 6 or 7 years
KELSEY: she needs to eat
LAUREN: I know and I'm stumped now if she doesn't eat she's going to end up in the hospital
JILL: all I know is she was working on camp rock one time and she was rushed tot he hospital for not eating she passed out
LAUREN: I never knew that
JILL: she told me a couple years ago
LAUREN: i didn't think things could be this bad
JILL: it's progressing very quickly
KELSEY: max just texted it's about time to head out

I grabbed Demis hand and told her it was time to leave. She got her stuff together and we headed out. Me and Kelsey figure we would drive to Demis with her since our car was there.

When we got there Henri was outside and he looked pissed. Demi has fallen asleep once again so we woke her up. When Demi saw Henri she looked horrified.

We watched Demi walk up to henri and he pushed her inside and slammed the door. Max looked worried and went to make sure everything was alright. Henri answered the door and said everything was fine. Max came back down and turned to me and Kelsey.

MAX: I swear I could hear crying
LAUREN: should we call someone
MAX: there's nothing we can do
