Meant To Be

First date

The next morning (Sunday)
I woke up feeling refreshed. I was so excited for today, no words could explain it. I got up, did my morning routine and headed downstairs to eat breakfast. Today I made French toast with a cup of coffee. Delicious! I ate my food and got ready. I changed my clothes into something casual but comfy. I decided to head to the mall and do a bit of shopping. I invited Maia to come along and she accepted. We took Maia's car since I didn't have one yet. We took about 10 minutes to get there and once we did, we parked and got out. It was now 9:30. We went inside  and started to look at some shops. I bought a few decorative items to put in my home and Maia also bought some household stuff to put in her house. We began to get hungry so we decided to go to the food court to get something to eat and drink. It wasn't quite lunch time yet but I do get hungry during the day so I like to have a light snack to eat. I got some bubble tea and a cup of shaved ice. We finished up our snack and continued to shop. I bought a few pieces of clothing and some other things. We finished shopping and went to have lunch in the food court. It was now 1:00. I ordered beef bibimbap and Maia ordered the japchae. It was delicious as expected. We had a side of kimchi which we shared. After eating, we had dessert which was jjinppang. I love red bean paste so I love jjinppang. We then drove back to our houses to chill for the rest of the day.

Time skip (Tonight)
It was about 5:00 so I decided to get ready for my date with Namjoon tonight. I took a shower and washed my hair. I also brushed my teeth and shaved. I blow dried my hair and picked out my outfit. It was just a simple black dress, about knee length. I paired it with some basic black heels. I decided to leave my hair down and just apply a bit of makeup, not much.
I was walking downstairs to put my shoes by the door when I heard the doorbell ring. It must be Namjoon! I put on my shoes and opened the door assuming that we were leaving now. I was met with Namjoon who was about to say something but just stood there staring at me.

Namjoon POV
I was about to greet her but the sight of her just made me speechless. I forgot what I was even gonna say...
She looked so beautiful. Her outfit was very simple, she was wearing little to no makeup, but she looked stunning. She wasn't even very dressed up but she looked so perfect in such a simple look.
"Namjoon? Namjoon! Are we going??"
Y/N asked waving her hand in front of me to get my attention.
"Wha-uh yeah" I said coming back to reality. We walked to the car and I opened the door for her.
"You look beautiful tonight." I said to her.
"Thank you. You look handsome as well."

Y/N POV
We drove for about 20 minutes before Namjoon pulled up at the restaurant. It was beautiful. It had fairy lights strung up, and there was a deck outside where tables were set up. It was an outdoor restaurant but it was so beautiful. I loved it. We were seated and given menus. We ordered our food and for our drinks, we ordered red wine. We did our toast and sipped on the beginning of our relationship. I enjoyed our time together. We ate, drank and talked, catching up on each other's lives. Then, afterwards, Namjoon drove to a nearby park. We walked down a path until we came into an open field. There were flowers everywhere and their sweet scent lingered in the air. There was a cool, calm night breeze gently blowing. The stars were out, shining brightly above our heads. We sat down on the grass. Namjoon put his arm around my waist and brought me closer to him as we laid down. I rested my head on Namjoon's shoulder. We gazed at the beautiful stars. Tonight reminded me of when we confessed to each other. It was beautiful. I didn't realize that I started to get emotional. I was smiling widely while my eyes were tearing up.
"This reminds of the night we confessed..." I whispered.
"Yeah... so beautiful..."
"I'm so happy to have you, Namjoon..." I sighed.
"I'm so happy to have you too, Y/N..."
Namjoon and I were hugging each other, holding on to each other, not wanting to let go. I buried my head into his chest as held my tightly. He gave me a little peck on my forehead. I looked up at him and then he gave me a soft peck on my lips. After a while, we decided to go home. By the time Namjoon pulled up at my house, it was 10:00. I got out and said goodbye to Namjoon. I went inside and did my night routine, changed into my pajamas and went straight to bed because I had work the next day.

Namjoon POV
That date was amazing. It went really well. I know she loved it. I'm really glad we got to spend time together. Anyways, I did my night routine, changed and went to bed knowing I had to get up early for practice the next day. I fell asleep thinking about Y/N...
