Y/N POV (Saturday) It was a week before the engagement. Mara and Jin's engagement. I was beyond excited. It was now about one month after where we left off last time with the date with Namjoon. Now let me give you a little flashback. This should explain how the engagement came along... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Flashback (3 weeks ago) It was a normal Saturday. I was just chilling in my house. Today was a lazy Saturday. I didn't bother to go out or shop or anything. I just ate and watched Netflix. Later that day, I went to check my mailbox like I usually do everyday to see if there's any mail. Usually I don't really get much mail because...well idk. Who would want to send mail to me? Anyways, continuing, well today I got mail! There were a couple envelopes and a magazine. You know like those magazines they just give out and stuff in your mailbox hoping you'll read it. I went inside to look at the mail. There was the magazine and then one envelope was just my electricity bill and the other was inside a nice envelope. Not the normal cheap ones. A nice cream colored one. I opened it and was met with a beautiful, decorated invitation card. It was written that I was invited to Mara and Seokjin's engagement on Saturday 23rd June. Which was three weeks from now. And it started at 4:00. I was so happy for them. They would make the perfect couple and I hoped that they would really love each other and not because they were forced to. I decided to start making preparations for the engagement. But first I checked my phone when I heard a ding! indicating that I had received a message. It was from Namjoon. "Hi Y/N, did you receive your invitation to the engagement?" Namjoon asked. "Yes, I got it just now. You're going too right?" "Yes, I am. I was thinking maybe we could go together?" "Yeah, sure." "Ok great. I'll pick you up then. Maybe about 3:00?" "Yeah, sounds good." "Ok bye. I love you ❤️" "Bye. I love you too ❤️" And with that I turned off my phone. I know Mara also invited Megan and Lil whale. I texted them to see if they got their invitations. They both replied that the did and they would come to the engagement. After that I started my preparations. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1 week later (still flashback) By now it was two weeks before the engagement. Today, I decided to go and order my dress to wear and get some matching shoes and purse. I never really went out on fancy occasions like these often so I didn't really have any fancy evening dresses so I decided to go and order a new one. Plus this was a really special occasion. I went to the store and picked my dress and ordered it. They told me it would be ready in about a week. End of flashback ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Present day And so here we are one week later going to pick up my dress I ordered. I took a taxi to the store and picked up my dress. I got back home and tried it on to see how it looked on me. It was perfect. I now decided to go get some shoes and a purse to match. I went to the mall and entered into a shoe store and picked up the shoes I ordered. Then I did the same in a store that sold clutch bags. Then I had lunch in the food court since I was starving. After, I went home to put my things away safely to keep for the engagement. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Saturday 23rd June engagement (1 week later) I woke up feeling energized and excited for today. It was Mara and Jin's engagement ceremony. This one was going to be to the public since an announcement was made about their arranged marriage to each other. They invited their own guests but the ceremony would be streamed on TV. I woke up, did my morning routine and changed into some casual clothes. I went to do some errands and then had lunch. For the afternoon, I chilled for a bit. When it reached 2:00 I started to get ready. I bathed, washed my hair, washed my face, did all the stuff I normally do when I get ready. I blow dried my hair. Then I put on the dress that I ordered and did my hair and makeup.

(Shoes) I also also prepared my clutch bag as an accessory. I grabbed my phone, wallet, ID etc and put them in my clutch bag. I carried it downstairs with my shoes in my hand as well. I put my shoes by the door and waited for Namjoon to come. I texted him saying I was ready. A few minutes later, I heard the doorbell ring, indicating that Namjoon had arrived. I put on my shoes, grabbed my bag and opened the door. We walked to the car and Namjoon opened the door for me and I got in. We drove for about half an hour before arriving at the venue. Mara and Jin had booked a grand hall to host the engagement. Inside, the floor was made of marble and the decor was beautiful. It really was grand. Namjoon and I took our seats after greeting our friends. After 10 minutes, the function started. There was an introduction, greetings etc and then the actual proposal. All of this was being streamed on TV for the public to view. After the formal ceremony was over, the party came. Oh! Did I mention that my brother came? Well let me introduce you to Jackson. He's my older brother, 24 years old. He was invited to the engagement as well. He also likes BTS but not as much as I do. I mean he likes them and listens to their music but he doesn't love them like I do. He's not crazy over them. And btw he's never met Namjoon. I told him that we were dating and he was shocked...probably because he never thought I would ever even meet Namjoon but I don't blame him because I was surprised too. But anyways, this will be his first time meeting Namjoon. I hope they get along well. At the party, we all talked. (Btw the party is at the grand hall. They just cleared out all the chairs). Megan, lil whale, Mara and I talked while Namjoon, Jin, and BTS had to leave for a while to do something. So yeah, my friends have actually yet to meet BTS well except for Megan and Mara. But Lil whale hasn't met them yet. Because in this hall, it's so big and there's so many people and well BTS left to do something so...yeah that explains that. We talked, drank some champagne to congratulate Mara on her proposal... and Jin... but he wasn't there. Oh! My brother was there too. I think he's met Megan quite a lot of times before, considering that we were best friends for nearly our whole lifetime. And I think he's met lil whale and Mara only a few times. And he just met Namjoon a little while ago. While we were waiting for the ceremony to start, Jackson came over and sat next to us. So he and Namjoon were introduced...well not that they don't know each other...I mean they're both from famous groups so...yeah. Anyways they got along really well. They talked like normal, they were laughing together like they knew each other for years. I was really happy to see them getting along. Sadly, lil whale and Megan had to leave early because they had some stuff to do. Later, BTS came back from doing whatever they went to do and Namjoon came over to me. Mara and I went to join the rest of BTS with Namjoon and Jin. We drank a little more, ate some food and danced a little. And of course we talked a lot. Everyone was having a good time. When the party was over, we left to go home. BTS went back to their dorm, Mara went back to her house, and Namjoon and I went in his car, back to my house for Namjoon to drop me off. I got out and said goodbye to Namjoon before he drove off. I went inside and did my night routine and changed. I went to bed feeling exhausted and I quickly fell asleep.
