We arrive at Sector 6 as soon as the sun has completely risen in the sky. Drew walks close beside me and holds my hand. Zachary walks a little behind. "I should be coming with you." Drew mutters.

"Drew, He'll kill you off straight away." I state.

"But, what if he hurts you?" He asks worriedly.

"Then I would have to snap his neck." I say, "And I don't want to have to get even three metres close to that scrub."

We both chuckle quietly, "Well, do that." He chuckles.

"Don't worry, I will." I say. The base comes into view, "Snipers on the wall will see you guys, so if I were you I'd go ahead and hide now, so they don't suspect anything and think I'm alone." I turn to Zachary.

"Stay safe." My father says and hugs me as I let go of Drew's hand.

"I will." I mumble, hugging him tight.

He steps back and Drew hugs me next, "Try not to die." He says.

"I'll try." I smile up at him as he leans his forehead against mine.

"Be careful." He mutters.

"At least I'm more careful than you." I let out a breathy laugh. He does the same. "I'll be back soon." I say, before I give him a quick kiss on the cheek. He smiles and I step back and turn to leave. He quickly grabs my wrist to stop me.

"You better be back." He says, before pulling me closer to him and placing a hand on my cheek. He kisses me softly, but I quickly pull away since Zachary is right there. I feel my cheeks heat up a bit.

"We'll see." I smile up at him.

"I better get an explanation, you two." Zachary cuts in quickly. We both turn our heads in Zachary's direction instantly, our eyes wide. Whoops.

I leave Drew for interrogation and quickly turn and rush in the direction of the fortified base. I poke tongues at Drew and he returns the favour.

After a couple short minutes I've made it to the gates to the base that tower high above me. More snipers stand guard than I remember. They aim at me and a women's voice orders from the top of the gates, "Halt!"

I immediately stop in my tracks and look up at her. She wears her uniform and holds a shotgun that rests at her side, "Name?" She calls down to me.

"Jessica Holland." I reply, staying where I am.

She disappears down behind the gates and I wait a few minutes. I almost startle when the gates rattle and shake. It slowly rolls up like a giant garage door. I nervously stand and wait until I notice Jake stands right in front of me inside the base. The women stands beside him. He looks me up and down. "Jessica." He says, "I was wondering when you would turn up." He continues.

"Of course I would come. I'm your girlfriend now, remember?" I ask hesitantly, almost reminding him that he should let me in basically.

"Oh, of course, how could I possibly forget." He chuckles quietly, "Well, the thing is, that's no more." A girl walks over and basically hangs from his shoulder. I remember her from my training group when I lived here at Sector 6. Well, this plan backfired. I'm about to speak when he talks over me, "Throw her in the cells." He orders the women with the shotgun.

"Wait! Jake! No! You can't do this!" I exclaim, stepping back as the women walks up to me and grabs my arms, holding them behind my back. I struggle in her iron grip. Twisting my body to the side, I try to see behind me to see Zachary or Drew. But, I'm turned back ahead too fast and barely see anything in time.
