Day 3 of court

I'm so nervous. Today is the last day we could win this and then the Judge could decide the girls fate. I don't want to lose them. I can't lose them. Chance could see me in distress and I couldn't blame him. He wraps his arms around me and I feel him squeeze me comfortably.

Chance: Don't worry, Wendy. We are going to win this trial. And when we do we could finally relax.

I smiled at him and kissed his cheek.

Wendy: I hope so.

We were all seated back in our original seats for the final time. Everyone in the game was nervous about the final decision for the girls.

Irving: Your honor, the custody for Judy and Crystal should belong to Chance Valentine and Wendy Martin, because they have given them what all children need. What you may ask, I'll tell you what. Love.

Irving turns to us and smiles.

Irving: They have given them love, a home, and a family. Judy was abandoned by her parents and the same fate happened to Wendy. Crystal was living alone and had no parent looking after her.

Irving points at Franco.

Irving: Franco Valentine is unworthy of having these girls with him.

Irving turns to the Judge.

Irving: I rest my case.

Judge: Thank you, Mr. Monroe.

Franco's lawyer stand up and walks in the front.

Franco's lawyer: Your honor, Mr. Valentine over here is just trying to keep these girls safe. He would never do anything to hurt-

Mateo: Objection!

Mateo stood from his seat as he face was written with anger.

Mateo: Franco Valentine tried to scare them to make them feel unsafe.

I stood up from my seat.

Wendy: He's right he could've gotten them killed.

Franco's lawyer: That is a total lie-

Ash: Shut up!

With that threat, the lawyer backed away.

Aurora: He's the one who's lying!

Yoshimitsu: That bastard tried to get them killed with that car accident!

Chance: He hires one of his men and he could've gotten the girls killed!

Judge: Enough! Quite in the court!

The judge bangs her gavel multiple times and she tried to silence everyone. Once everyone settled down, she stared down at us.

Judge: Do you have any evidence of Mr. Valentine lying?

Irving: We do, your honor.

Mateo walks over to the Judge and shows the video we took of Franco and his men. I could see the distress in the Judge's eyes. Mateo passed the video to the jury and it didn't take long to see the look of horror in their eyes.

Judge: We need a moment to decide.

The judge and the jury exited the court to decide the fate of Crystal and Judy. A few moments later, they came back.

Judge: Has the jury reached a verdict?

Jury member: We have, your honor. We define the Franco Valentine guilty of attempted murder and will be sentenced to prison along with the man who was hired for this attempt. Judy Martin and Crystal Valentine are heat by in the custody of Chance Valentine and Wendy Martin.

We cheered. We won! We beaten them! The police took Franco in hand cuffs as he glared at us.

Franco: Watch, you all will be sorry. All of you.

Yoshimitsu: Yeah, we're sure are.

Chance: Now let's go home and celebrate!

Everyone: Yeah!
