I was reading a book in the library as Chance was viewing some paper work he had. As we were doing our own thing, we've noticed something was a little off.

Wendy: Don't the girls get out of school already?

I asked as I put my book down. Chance looks at his watch.

Chance: You're right. Crystal should have picked up Judy and they should have been here.

We stopped what we were doing and picked up our phones. I texted Judy, while Chance texted Crystal. Just in a second, they both replied.

Judy and Crystal: We're home and we're with Ash.

I was confused on what was Ash doing with the girls, so Chance and I decided to see if there not up to any trouble. As we walked out of the library, we heard a gun shot. We quickly ran to the source of the sound, but it was no threat.

Ash was with the girls as they were shooting at the targets he set up for them.

We finally made it outside.

Chance: You're teaching them how to shoot, Ash?

Ash nods.

Ash: It's better to be safe than sorry.

I walked up closer to them.

Wendy: Are you sure it's okay if they learn how to use weapons?

Ash: I think it's a safe idea, because how knows when we're gong to run into danger again like what Franco tried to pull off.

The girls soon joined the conversation.

Crystal: Ash is right. I think we should learn to protect ourselves.

Judy: And we're just learning how to shoot a gun not a rocket launcher.

They smirked at Ash as he looks away sheepishly.

Judy: Seriously, Ash. We need to talk about our explosion obsession.

Ash: It's not an obsession.

Crystal: Sure, the grenades I get, but the rocket is a bit much. We're just learning how to protect ourselves not fighting a war near the mountains.

Ash: Don't make fun of me.

We all laughed. As we settled down Chance and I thought it would be a good idea for the girls to learn a bit of self defense.

Chance: To show if you girls are able to handle yourselves, you are going to assist us in a job later on.

Crystal: Are you sure?

Judy: Do you think we're ready?

Chance smiles at them.

Chance: Only if you girls are ready.

The girls looked at each other and then they smiled. Ash walked over to them as they continued their lesson. I grabbed Chance's arm and pulled him away.

Wendy: Chance, are you sure it's a good idea to let them come with us on the job?

Chance could sense my fear. He held my hands in his as he kisses them.

Chance: Don't worry, we'll be there with them and we'll make sure nothing happens to them.

Wendy: I know, but...

I couldn't find the next words to say. I was pulled into a tight embrace as I feel Chance's face on my neck.

Chance: I know. I worried about them too. That's why I'll ask the others to help train them to become strong enough to defend themselves. We can't always be there for them, but I know they'll look after each other.

I smiles at him. He was right, we can't always be there to protect them. It'll be best to train them. Chance pulled my face closer to his as our lips met.

Judy: Oh, come on! Not here, guys!

Crystal: I don't want more nightmares since that bedroom incident!

Chance and I immediately broke our kiss as we blushed. I could see Ash laughing at us from behind the girls.

I really wished we locked that door a while ago.

Hi, everyone. Sorry I was late, I got busy with my other stories. Hope you enjoy it.
