I'm home from school break watching Modern Family with Emp and my mom. Emp comes over alot because her parents stay arguing, it's like she's lives here lol.
I live in the basement of my mom's house until I finish school, get a job and find a place of my own. My parents divorced when I was fourteen but my dad is still in my last life, him and my mom are cool now, they're just better off as friends.
My mom got up and went into the kitchen.
"Sofia Vergara could get it...her Espanol having ass..mmm i mami" Emp said licking her lips as her eyes stayed glued to the TV.
"Lol... shut up mom could hear you" I said as I tapped the back of her head.
I got out my phone and texted Scar. She lives with her parents about 45 minutes away from me.
Me: hey baby I miss you... Wyd?
Scar: Aww I miss you too and nothing really I'm just reading a novel....Wyd?
Me: your nerdy ass lol...I'm chilling with Emp & my mom...we watching Modern Family.
Scar: oh tell them both I said hi... My mom is calling me I gotta go...love you.
My eyes grew big as I read the last part. It's the first time she said those words, we have never said that to eachother even though I wanted to on many occasions lowkey. I smiled and texted back.
Me: I love you too baby :)
"Why you over there cheesing so hard for....by the way you shouldn't...you not that cute when you smile" Emp turned to me and said before turning back to watch the show.
I tapped her again, she screamed out rubbing the back of her head.
"Lol.. that's what you get anddddd I was smiling because Scar told me she loves me for the first time. " I told her still smiling.
"Aww that's so sweet hunny." my mom said smiling at me walking back into the living room with a cup of coffee.
Scar and my mom met two days ago when I came home. I introduced them and they hit it off immediately. My mom thinks she's a sweetheart. I'm happy they get along because my mom wasn't always acceptive of my homosexuality but she slowly accepted it and now we're cool again.
"I know right" I replied with a big ass smile on my face.
"When are you going to find a girlfriend Empress? " my mom asked her.
"When pigs could fly" she answered with her eyes still glued to the TV. My mom shook her head and so did I.
Emp has commitment issues since her last girlfriend of 2 years who she was madly in love with broke her heart. She hasn't been the same ever since when it comes to females and relationships.
An hour later there was a knock at the front door. My mom got up and answered it.
"Vaeh hunny you have a visitor" my mom said coming in the living room. I looked up and saw Scar standing beside her with a smile. I got up and hugged her.
"What you doing here? " I asked.
"Hey Emp...ohh I was bored so I decided to give you a surprise visit." she said and held my hand.
"Hey big head" Emp said while texting someone, Scar laughed.
"Wanna go somewhere? " I asked and she nodded.
