Thank you @LilPencil222 for the idea. Also to all the new readers, when I started this in 2018 I didn't ever think this would be noticed so much. Back then I was still starting out my account and trying to find my writing style and all that. This book turned out better than I ever would've hoped. Thank you to the people who have been there from the beginning because the book wouldn't have become what it is today without you, sometimes I wonder how many people from the beginning are still here.
It took a little bit to get to writing this chapter but, I hope you enjoy it anyway.
Patton cried into his pillow thinking of the cold rejection he experienced just yesterday. It was hard to be rejected by his long time crush even though he understood why.
Logan knocked on his door, "Patton, where are you? I need to talk to you."
Patton shakily took a deep breath to calm down, "I'm here."
Logan walked in and sat on Patton's bed, "Do you want to talk?"
Patton shook his head, tears rolling down his cheeks.
"I think you need to." Logan told him.
"Okay... my crush rejected me, I understand it but he was still pretty cold and I was disoriented. I'm just still trying to compose myself, trying to force my heart to stop pining... The heart always hurts." Patton fake smiled as the tears continued to fall down his face.
"I may not know exactly how you feel but just know that I'll listen to you. And I'll be here when you want me." Logan said placing a chaste kiss to Patton's lips before turning around and walking away.
"Hey, Logan... I can't return your feelings right now." Patton called out.
"I know." Logan said before leaving the room.
I'm sorry but this is a good place to end it for the sake of plot. Forgive me.
