They said she came from another planet

Aiden

"Is there a chance we could just board a plane and take a week off? I am tired of this shit"

"Shut up Matt. I love you, but I swear you won't be alowed to come and study in my room if you keep acting like a crybaby."

'Oh, come on Ellie, you wound me. I was merely suggesting something more interesing that this."

I could hear something falling to the floor. Matt must have thrown a book on the floor.

Again.

Tonight it was only Ellie, Matt and me. Lexi is on a date with her pompous ass of a boyfriend, Patrick and Logan is, yet again, preocupied with his bussiness, although we could call that bussiness an empire now.

The three of us decided to study tonight in Ellie's room. Well, Ellie and I decided to study and Matt decided to make it as hard as possible.

"Why do you need to study? I don't get it. You dance and you play probably every instrument known to mankind."

"Sometimes I wonder were you dropped on your head as a baby Matt.", said Ellie.

"You could ask one of my nannies. Some of them were a bit clumsy.", was his answer.

I had to laugh at that. We all knew his mother was not exactly mommy dearest material so there was always a nanny in the house to look after Matt. He was a bit of a naughty child and the nannies did not last long. The champion nanny, as he calls her, lasted 6 months, and that was only because he was scared of the old lady and how she would react to his harmless pranks.

"That is funny and sad at the same time Matt.", was my only answer.

"Poor me. Maybe we should go to Bali so I could forget everything about my tormenting childhood in the arms of some beautiful woman, or two."

"You were a demon sent from hell to torment every person in the ten mile radius and you call yourself tormented?", Ellie asked.

"Pretty much."

"You decided it would be cool to design a torpedo and catapult your baby sister to Mars when you were five.", was my retort.

He started laughing.

"It was not my fault. When I asked how did Mindy come to us, they answered she came from another planet into mom's belly. I wanted to send her back because she was crying all the time. I had a good intention. That must count for something."

We were all laughing by the end of his story. It was funny. Matt wasn't a problematic child. He was just overly interesed in building things. It is safe to say that most of the time his ideas were lunatic but his designs were inovative. Although his mother is not most afectionate person she saw Matt's talent and encouraged him to continue with his projects. Well, the ones that did not include his sister and a torpedo. Now he is an engineering student and a star of Academia's waterpolo team. So all is well that ends well, or something like that.

"But seriously, we could go to Las Vegas or something for the weekend."

"We are trying to study here Matt!", I could her the annoyance in Ellie's voice. It wouldn't surprise me if she really kicked him out. It wouldn't be the first time he had to beg in front of her doors and promise to be silent before he was let back in her room. It is safe to say he really studied after that incident.

"I can't mate. Sorry."

"Come on bro, you always go with me. Ride or die and that shit."

"I'm a bit preoccupied this weekend."

I still can not believe Winnie wanted to go out with me. Hell, she asked me out. That was seriously hot. I couldn't wait for Saturday day to come. Hanging out with Winnie this afternoon really did lift my spirits.

"Don't tell me you are still mad at me for telling Lexie about that girl I saw you with after I came to get you that day."

"No, Matt, I'm afraid I'm not childlish enough for that."

"You do realise playing piano until your death day is not reason good enough to skup Las Vegas."

"Just go with someone else."

"Who? Ellie doesn't want to go. Logan my not be back by Saturday and Lexi is going with Patrick to meet his parents."

The way Matt twisted Patrick's name really showed he does not like the guy. No one in our group likes him. Except for Lexie. Maybe. Sometimes I am not sure if she likes him or just tolerates him. I can hear the annoyance in her voice when she talks to him or her uninterested tone when she talks about him. And, even though I can not see it, I know what facial expration goes with that tone of her voice. I wonder how Patrick never sees it. No, cross that. I know exactly why he doesn't see it. Because he has his head so far up his ass he wouldn't be able to get it out even if he tried.

It is no secret I don't like that pompous ass around my sister. I do hope she leaves him sooner rather than later.

"I have an idea.", said Ellie. "Why don't you take your flavour of the week with you."

"You mean Simone?", amswere Matt. "Are you crazy? That girl is another level of crazy. If I ask her to Vegas with me she will likely start choosing names for our babies."

"I know.", laughed Ellie, "That's why I proposed you take her with you. It would be funny to see how you'll get rid of her without going to Vegas, but it would be just hilarious to see you trying to get rid of her after going to a romantici getaway together."

Matt groaned.

"Come on Aiden. I beg you."

"I told you bro, I'm bussy."

"Bussy doing what?", asked Matt clearly uninterested.

"Your mum."

This time a pillow hit my face.

"Asshole."

I could hear Ellie laughing uncontrollably somewhere next to me.

"You do realise he won't leave you alone until you promise to go with him. Just agree.", Ellie was right, Matt could be a pain in the ass. It is not as though he needs to try, it comes naturally to him.

"I have a date."

"You have what?", asked Matt.

"A date. With Winnie, the girl you saw..."

"I know who she is, it's not...", I interrupted Matt by raising my hand.

"Ellie, why do I hear your nails furiously typing?"

"Because I am updating Lexi.", she answered in a matter of fact voice.

"Oh, come on!"

"What? We were betting and she lost. I am not missing my opportunity to rub it in, besides she is with Patrick so she must be bored out of her mind. This will definitely make her evening better."

"But she lost.", said Matt.

"Yes, but Aided is not a monk-to-be anymore.", she answered and then turned to me, "For some reason she really wanted you to ask her out but she never thought you'd be this quick."

"And you did?"

"I remember how you were before the accident. So yes."

"You know, she asked me out."

Matt started laughing.

"Shit. Well. Don't tell that to Lexie. I really want to see her dressed as a chicken for your charity ball this year and the term of our bet was that you ask her out."

"You do realise Lexi will kill you, Ellie."

"Well, at least the last thing I see will be her running after me dressed in a chicken costume.", she said sweetly.
