Tabitha Longbottom, a reserved and introverted Hufflepuff, was famed throughout her entire year for her unparalleled quietude. This description was not merely an embellishment or an understatement, as even the most objective observers, including the professors, echoed this perception.
It seemed inexplicable for anyone aware of Tabitha's quiet nature to find her standing in the midst of a vibrant party in the Gryffindor Common Room. Surrounded by horny, drunk, and wild teenagers, Tabitha stood out in the crowded space. She wore an expression so intense it seemed capable of causing actual harm, which only added to the perplexing contrast between her present actions and her usual demeanor.
Tabitha felt a sudden jolt as her older brother, Frank, flung his arm around her shoulder, nearly causing her to lose balance. He was the one responsible for pulling her away from the tranquil comfort of the library. No words were exchanged, as he had simply scooped her up and carried her across the Hogwarts corridors with the ease of hauling a ragdoll.
Frank's tone was lighthearted, and he sang his plea, "Come on, Tabs, lighten up!" His words rang out amid the bustle of the party, trying to coax his younger sister into shedding her usual reserved demeanor.
Frank couldn't help but chuckle at her withering glare and the unspoken threat in her eyes. "If looks could kill, I'd have been dead ages ago," he repeated her earlier words with a smirk. He had taken away her wand knowing well enough to keep it out of her reach, leaving her defenseless amidst the boisterous company she had always avoided.
