Although James and Tabitha's relationship became the hot topic of Hogwarts, the excitement surrounding it did not last long. Soon enough, their relationship became normalized, and they were just treated like any other couple.
People still talked and whispered whenever they walked together in the halls, but the initial thrill had subsided. James and Tabitha continued their routine as before—studying together, laughing and joking around, and occasionally stealing moments alone.
During the summer break, James and Tabitha made sure to spend as much time together as possible, going on various dates and enjoying each other's company.
Her parents were openly supportive of their relationship, but Frank, on the other hand, had taken it upon himself to annoy and tease them relentlessly.
He made it a mission to poke fun at them and interrupt their romantic moments every chance he got. Despite his attempts to ruin their time together, James and Tabitha took it all in good stride, laughing and bickering back with him.
Frank's constant interference and attempts to annoy them only seemed to strengthen their bond. They found comfort in each other and used his antics as opportunities to grow closer. They would exchange eye rolls and grins whenever he made a particularly annoying comment, silently communicating their amusement and affection for each other.
