I got home and saw a car in the drive way that didn't look familiar.

I looked through the window and saw my brother, he was talking to some guy who had a black hoodie on and a face mask.

"The strongest drugs, just like you asked" the man said.

Simon looked at him and yawned.

"They aren't that strong..." he mumbled.

His eyes were red and blood shot, he was pale and thin.

His hair was scattered and he kept breathing in a weird way.

My brother was on drugs? And the illegal ones at that.

"Or maybe your problems are to big" the man said, his voice was deep.

My brother came closer and grabbed the mans hoodie, his eyes were clouded with anger and pain.

"You know who will win this fight" the man said, he seemed bored.

I went inside the house.

"Who are you!?" I asked grabbing a plant to use as a weapon,

My brother let go of the man.

The man turned around and looked at me, he had forest green eyes that looked like they were shining in the dim lights.

"Zach, and you must be the sister" he said.

He had on tight black leather jeans.

I slowly nod.

"I was just giving your brother the drugs he ordered, he has been our top buyer ever since the car accident" he said.

He has been doing this for a year now.... all the money, that's were it went.

"But you didn't know that" he said carefully.

No I didn't.

His eyes widen.

Did I just hear her Thought?

The thought was in my head, but it wasn't mine.

Soulmate.

Soulmate.

We both thought it. He hurried out of the house, as soon as the door closed I broke down crying.

"So-" my brother started.

"No! You used all of our money, you didn't leave you bedroom, how do you think I feel? I have been crying, ever since. I was asleep when mom died, you might think that made it easier but I developed somniphobia, you of course didn't know that. You were to busy WASTING our money, and ruining my life." I cry out, I got up to leave.

I turned to him.

"I found my soulmate, tell him that just because we're soulmates won't make me forgive him" I say holding back a cry, I tell him to get out of my house and he does just that.

Somniphobia is the fear of sleeping
