At homecoming, instead of having Grant pick me up, Kathy and I decided to have him and Kathy's date meet us there.
Once we arrived we hunted around for them, they said they were near the punch bowl, and they were.
Kathy said bye to me as she left with Keith. I tapped Grant on the shoulder and when he turned around kissed him softly.
"Miss me?" I asked him playfully.
"You look.. Wow." Grant was speechless, I made a boy speechless.
I blushed and grabbed his hand, intertwining our fingers. I led him out of the dancefloor and they were playing some slow song I doubt anyone has ever heard.
"May I have this dance?" Grant asked, bowing.
"Yes, yes you can." I smiled at him before putting my arms around his neck and resting my head in the crook of his shoulder, and we danced like that for a while. It was nice, not having to worry about anything going wrong.
I suddenly fell to the ground, I felt as though the wind had been knocked out of me.
"Nicole, Nicole are you okay?" Grant asked frantically, sitting down next to my mangled body as I tried to reply but no words could come out. "Someone call 911!" He demanded.
When we arrived at the hospital I was rushed into the emergency room and Grant said he would call my mother, that's the last thing I heard before I was dragged into the ER.
It had been three hours and they still couldn't figure out what had happened or what was wrong with me because my body was reacting normal to every test that had been tried on me since I came in here.
