Oh my gosh! Homework. I got home not to long ago and homework was already too much. I picked up my phone just incase I got a text message which I didn't expect but, somehow I did. I looked at the text. Of course it was from the one person I actually talk to.

        Hey

        Hey I replied

        Wanna hangout?

        Sure, when?

        How about now?

        Really?!

        Yes look outside.

I looked out the straw colored curtains and sure enough he was out there. I signaled him out the window to tell him one second. I ran upstairs and grabed my sweatshirt and got my keys. I quickly unlocked the door and ran to the kitchen to write my mom a note. It said

        "Hey mom,

Hanging out with David today. Should be back home at about 6:00 if im not back give me a call. You know how time flies when your fun. Sorry I didn't tell you sooner, he kinda came here and suprised me. You know how he is. Love ya and i'll see you soon

                                                                Love,

                                                                Crimson

I grabed my phone and slipped it into my purse/messenger bag and ran out the door. I locked the door and ran over to him.

        "Hey David."

        "Hey"

"What do you want to do today?"

        "Huh?"

"Well you said that you wanted to hangout, I thought that you had something in mind."

"I kinda did but, you probably don't want to."

        "Come on tell me."

        "Nah!"

        "Please!!"

        "Okay, how about the park?"

        "Sounds great."

        "Really?'

        "Yeah. Come on let's go."

We started the walk to the local park. We used to hangout here as a kid all the time. The swing set was still there along with the slides. We picked a bench to sit down on and the breeze picked up dramaticly. It swept across my face and tickled my nose. I sat and we both watched together the children running around the playground. I watched a dog chase a kid around the playground and fell down. I gasped and David looked over to me his hazel eyes aimed straight to my cheek. I watched the dog run over to the kid and nuzzel him on the head and put his muzzle into his stomach to help him stand up. David had followed my gaze and watched the scene in as much awe as I was.

        "Aww." I said.

David grabbed my hand and pulled me to my feet. I had been staring at the boy and the dog that I hadn't noticed he had stood up.

"Come on dog lover." David gawked at me.

        "I'm coming i'm coming."

        "Alright."

He gave me a little shove in the shoulder and pushed me around a bit. I gave a light shove back and smiled a little bit.

"So how have you been?" I asked him.

"Not bad not bad. Been working at school and playing call of duty like normal. How about you?"

"Good so far. Alright mr. you dragged me off the bench because obviously you wanted to do something else so go a head talk away."

"Well I thought we could grab a snack or something and eat by the fountain."

        "Okay sounds like a plan."

"Alright where do you want to go?

"David you know that I really don't have a perference. I don't really care where we go."

        "Okay how about MCDonalds?"

        "Yeah that sound great."

We walked across the street by a street crossing. We walked in and were greeted by the abrupted smell of coffee and fries. I could hear the humming of the ice cream machine and the sizzling of the grease of the chicken mcnuggets. I stood closer to him in the line ecspecailly once I realised the amount of people in line with us. He looked over at me gave me a quick smile. He turned back around to the front of the line. I didn't know that smile would give me such comfort. My face went from worried to smooth, calm and collected. That is until I saw one face I didn't want to see.
