Crimson

Chapter 9

        School was a lot of fun. I was in L.A. and we went from talking about words that were similar if not mean the same thing, to how much popcorn and a movie cost. We were all laughing so hard, our faces started turning red. I walked out the classroom and saw something I couldn't forget. Some people were running after that girl I had met named Sapphire I think. She was with Mike and they opened the door to the stairwell so fast I was supprised that the door didn't blow of it's hinges. I had to do something, but what could I do? They were going up to the 11th and 12th grade hall. I couldn't do that, but I also couldn't tell the principle, I mean what if they get expelled? 

        Just then I ran into someone. Great, just what I needed. I looked up and met green eyes and light brown hair. 

        "Im sorry, I wasn't watching were I was going." I said while looking up at him and watching those beautiful teeth flash a nice smile. 

        "Alot going on?" He asked me.

        "You have no idea."

        "Hey, since I bummped into you, what's your name?" 

        "Crimson. What's yours?"

        "Ethan, but my friends call me Emerald because my favorite color is emerald green."

        "That's quite a name."

        "I know."

        We stood in silence for a few minutes. Unable to think of a good question to ask or anything to talk about. It didn't matter to me those eyes. That's all I could say. I looked over at him.

        "Well, I probably should get going." I said.

        "What you had on your mind catching up with you?" He asked, flashing that special smile at me.

        "Yeah." 

        "Alright, i'll catch you later Crimson."

        "See yah." With that he walked off.

        There still was a problem to solve and I took off towards the staircase. Man, i'm glad this is my free period. I burst through the door to the top of the stairwell and looked around for two people running unsually fast through the hallways. I didn't know where I was going, but if I was going to help them I was going to look around. I walked down the hallway took a left and came to a dead end. I turned around and ran down the hallway. I took a left at the first turn I saw and came to see that Sapphire and Mike were cornered in an actually corner. I was about to run and save them when I saw Sapphire do the most bizzare thing. 

        There was a drinking fountain not to far from where they were cornered. The fountain started to run, but the water didn't go down into the drain, it went up into the air and wrapped it's self around the leg of one of the guys. The water pulled it's legs from under him and whipped his whole body to the ground. My eyes widened in shock. Before I got a chance to process what had happened to him the water smacked into the side of the other guys head and knocked him dead sideways. He was on the floor in seconds. 

        Remind me not to get on eher bad side.
