3 | A moment with Grayson

ETHAN
"Did you text Doug and Jack?"

"Duh." I said.

Grayson insisted everyone go to beach, I didn't want to go because of the school work piling up. Not mention I had to work tomorrow morning. I just didn't want to go. But honestly I'd do anything for him. So I had said yes to get him off my back. The unfortunate part of it was that Amanda was going. She overheard us talking about it and she intervened. Typical her.

It was suppose to Grayson, Jack, Doug and I. But we're bringing along her instead.

I yawned wanting to go off back to bad but we could be leaving soon. I felt a slap on my back, then turned to see Grayson smirking, "Wake up." He said.

"Dick." I drank more of my coffee hoping to ease away the tiredness. Maybe I'd gain my energy at the beach.

Grayson and I heard footsteps stomping from
upstairs. We both looked at each other immediately knowing it was Amanda. She had stayed the night unfortunately after hearing the plans. Didn't even bother going home. It was a rough night hearing her loud ass and Grayson. It hurt but It was easy to ignore after I put headphones on.

I rolled my eyes as she walked inside the kitchen.

"Goodmorning, babe." She kisses Grayson on the lips causing me to gag.

She didn't deserve him.

"Hello. Ethan."

"Amanda." I gave her the fakest smile I could put on.

Grayson sniggered causing me to laugh. He knows how much I hated her. But still didn't get rid of her. Saying that me and her would eventually get along. I died of laughter that day.

I heard the doorbell which signaled Doug and Jack, and I quickly raced to get it. Opening I saw a smiling Doug and Annoyed Jack.

"Hey Ethan." He smiled.

"Sup Ethan." Jack said.

"What crawled up your ass?"

"Doug. Woke me up."

"Grayson did the same to me." I gave Doug look rolling my eyes.

"He should've gotten up." He laughed.

"What's up guys?" Grayson and Amanda both entered the room.

I walked over to Doug since Jack and Grayson started up a conversation.

"What's she doing her so early?"

"She stayed." I sighed.

We both sat on the couch. Doug figures how my night probably went and what I heard.

"I'm sorry Ethan. Just give up." He said.

"I can't just give up." I told him truthfully.

"I miss you."

"Don't start Doug." I looked away.

"Ethan, I'm serious. I can't believe you're still wasting you time with Grayson. He's our friend."

"Please leave it." I looked at him.

He sighed then gave me hug. I have to honest with myself. I did miss Doug's hugs and his kisses. He made feel wanted by another man. He made me feel loved. Despite me being closer to Ethan. Doug and Jack, especially Doug will always be my favorites.

"You guys ready?" Grayson came in with a sweatshirt on.

"You're wearing that? It's going to be like 100 degrees." Doug laughed.

"Shut up."

Doug and I laughed at him.

We finally all cramped up in Graysons car. Which wasn't too bad except for the fact Doug and Jack were huge. So I was being squished to a pulp. I couldn't breath.

"Grayson you know damn well it's cramped back here."

"Sit on Doug or Jacks lap."

I looked at Doug and he was smirking. I sighed sitting on his lap hoping we wouldn't get stopped by the cops. Knowing Grayson this would be a very short trip. He drives like an asshole.

"Please don't kill us." Amanda said.

First time I've agreed with her.

Ever.

We were finally at the beach and we all were able to get out Grays cramped car, and stretch out legs. Doug was enjoying the ride a little bit more than everyone else. I rolled my eyes at him. He wouldn't wipe that stupid smirk off his cute face.

"Sitting on my lap just like old times."

"Shut it." I said grabbing my bag out of the trunk.

He laughed walking closer to the beach.

"Need help?" Grayson asked.

"No, I'm good. I can carry this other stuff."

"Ethan, always so stubborn. Let me help."

I gave in and let him grab our lunch and the bag of towels, "Grayson always so persistent." I said causing him to smile and we both walked to the beach.

"You got me there." He said.

"Yeah." I could feel myself blushing just with Grayson being his normal charming self.

"Is school and work going good for you? Living in my house?"

"Everything's good Gray." I smiled.

"Good." He smiled at me.

Our moment didn't last too long because Amanda cane our way, "We found a good spot for all of us come on." She grabbed Graysons wrist and dragged him closer to shore in the sand.

I sighed.
