A clap of thunder booms through the streets of London, heavy rain quickly follows, immediately soaking through people's clothes. Soon the streets are filled with people running, puddles splashing up from passing taxis and buses. Soon enough black umbrellas are being taken out of bags and bought out of shops to protect people from the harsh weather. Out of the crowd there is one colourful umbrella, bright yellow. A closer look at the individual shows a matching outfit, her jacket a bright yellow, wellie boots also being a pale worn out yellow. She tries to push her way through the crowd but fails. People shouting at her, but she can't hear them. All she wants to do is draw in the park before it becomes too dark.

On the opposite side of London the streets are more quiet, a man is staring out his apartment, watching the rain bounce off the pavement beneath his window.

"You guys want to cancel rehearsals?" He mumbles across the phone to the group call. The three other men hum in reply, clearly not interested in leaving their houses either.

"Is it really a good idea to cancel?" One of the men ask. "It's just a bit of rain, nothing we're not used to."

"I just have a feeling about the weather. Not a very good feeling." The man mumbles, watching the lightening brighten up the sky briefly before a loud rumble shakes the house.

"If you say so, Dan." One by one, the men drop out of the group call. Dan places his phone down and watches the weather for a few more minutes, only to draw the curtains so he couldn't watch anymore.

"A yellow weather warning is being issued to those in England and the east of Scotland. Please be cautious when leaving the house." The weather woman informs whoever is watching the news. Dan turns it off and grabs his jacket and car keys. Within seconds of stepping outside his hair is damp. It is a quick run to the car, nearly slipping on a wet stone. The engine is turned on and he begins to drive. The further he drives into town, the more busier it becomes, with people running around with their shiny umbrellas. A girl dressed in yellow, with an umbrella to match, runs out in front of the car, Dan slams on his brakes and just misses the girl who just keeps going.

"No point in getting mad." He mutters to himself, starting the car again and driving, splashing pedestrians with the unavoidable arge puddles found on the road. The sky becomes darker as the minutes tick on. Soon enough the street lamps are on, cars blinding each other with their lights. There is the occasional flash of lightning quickly followed by a loud rumble. Dan soon arrives at his destination and quickly runs out the car to the doorstep. He rings the doorbell and waits. He rings it again, just to make sure the person inside heard it and waits, the rain harshly hitting off his back. The door swings open and Dan is greeted by a girl. He gives her a smile but she doesn't return it.

"We need to talk." She says, offering him to come inside.

"You're breaking up with me, aren't you?" Dan asks, refusing to step inside if this is the case. The girl nods, the frown more clearer than before.

"I'm sorry Dan, I just can't do this anymore." She informs him, not even a hint of sadness tracing her voice. Dan shakes his head and steps away from the door. "Dan wait! We can talk about this!"

"Save it for the next guy." Dan tells her, turning around and walking back to this car. His clothes are dripping now as he gets back into the car. The girl stares on, slowly closing the door, realising she maybe made a mistake but she can't go back now.
