Maggie didn't mean to kidnap the famous singer of Bastille. It's not like she tied him up in her basement or anything. She just found a man on the beach one morning. How was she supposed to know it was Dan Smith, if he didn't know who he was either.

dan and nia have been internet friends for the longest time. they've always been really close-closer than most internet friendships-and they always stick with each other, no matter what. one day, they find out that they'll be able to meet each other, which leads to loads of excitement and happy tears. what they don't know is that they'll end up falling for each other sooner than expected.

19 year old Dan can see ghosts. Kept company by his friend Kyle who was killed in a hit and run when they were 16, Dan uses his powers to make a little extra money, providing people with closure and a chance to say goodbye to their loved ones. Things are going smoothly, or as smoothly as they could for a student trying to get by, until a very dead stranger appears at his door, wanting to know who killed him.

So when offered a job touring with her cousins friend band selling merch she jumped at the opportunity. How hard could it be exactly? Touring with a band, selling some merch and the added bonus of free travel around the world. But whilst on tour she grows incredibly close to the band, but will previous experiences prevent her from being her true self around the boys?

This is a coming-of-age story where Dan and his wife are forced to grow up quicker than other people their age, which already sucks. To make matters worse, they also have to confront and deal with many difficult challenges that life throws at them... After all, life was never meant to be simple.

'No.' I said bluntly and walked away. I'd tried my best to keep calm, but was now resorting to holding my bottom lip with my teeth to stop it trembling. I couldn't believe that out of all the bands in the world, I had been assigned this one. With him. What on earth was I supposed to do? I'd never dreamed of seeing him again, and definitely not at work. But hadn't I known he was in a band? Hadn't he been the one who'd planted the idea in my head to work with musicians? I felt incredibly stupid and embarrassed. I took myself off to the ladies toilets before heading back to the office, checking I was alone before shutting the cubicle door and letting out a silent scream. No one could ever find out that Dan and I were married.
