The Nobita In the Mirror

NOTE: This is from the other book where "Slow and Quick" is joined.

In Nobita's home, Nobi was making a list...

Nobi: A radio-controlled tank costs 5680 yen. A transceiver (wireless radio) costs 6500 yen.

While Nobi was writing some notes, Doraemon went in....

Nobi: (scribbling down notes) A glove, a minicar and a wrist watch.....

Doraemon: (holding a plate with 2 Dorayakis) Today's snack is dorayaki.

But Nobi had other ideas, he took a dorayaki from the plate and went downstairs, to his mom.

Nobi: Mom, how much is this? (holding the dorayaki)

Mom: It's 100 yen.

Nobi: (giving the dorayaki) I'll give it back, so give me the money.

His mom took the dorayaki, gave him 100 yen, and he went upstairs...

Nobi: I still need more...

Doraemon: You shouldn't be so greedy.

Nobi: But my friends have all of these.

Doraemon: Suit yourself... (turns around)

Doraemon slowly put his dorayaki into his mouth, but Nobi spoke before he could eat it.

Nobi: (slurp) That looks good...

Doraemon: (turns around to Nobi and complained) Look, this one's mine!

Nobi: I know. I'm not thinking you'll share.

Doraemon slowly ate the dorayaki, but Nobi spoke again....

Nobi: That's the kind of guy you are after all.

Doraemon: How am I supposed to eat? (searching in his pocket)

He took out a rectangular mirror with a button...

Doraemon: " Fueru Mirror."

He placed it down and pushed the button. Then he took his dorayaki and reflected it in the mirror. Then the machine started shaking....

Then, he put his hand in the mirror... 'R-R-RRRRRR'

Nobi: What are you doing?

Doraemon took his hand out from the mirror and he was holding 'an' another dorayaki...

Doraemon: Anything reflected in the mirror comes out as a real thing.

And then he pushed the button....

Doraemon: If you forget to turn off the switch, there will be trouble.

Nobi: (surpised) What A Mirror!!!!

So he took his savings and went to the mirror...

Nobi: (excited) I have an idea. Let's multiply money. We can buy anything!!!

While Nobi was reflecting his money, Doraemon spoke...

Doraemon: It's no good.

Nobi: (reflecting his money) Why not?

He put his hand inside the mirror, and when he took his hand out, he saw the money he reflected... and Nobi was shocked...

Doraemon: This is a mirror, so you'll get the money printed in reverse.

But Nobi had 'an' another idea...

Nobi: I've got it. We don't need to get more money.

So he called his friends to bring them their toys, and asked if he can borrow them first...

Nobi: I'll pay you 10 yen as a rental fee.

Suneo: (worried) Be sure to return this to me.

Giant: Are you sure it's just for 30 minutes?

So he borrowed all their toys and went home...

Nobi: I only have to multiply and then return them.

So he went back home, went upstairs, pushed the button, and then starting to reflect one of the toys...

Nobi: Reflect and take out. Reflect and take out..

Doraemon: (gives a warning) Don't forget to turn off the switch...

After a few minutes of reflecting, he's now done...

Nobi: (proud) I'm done.

Then, he look at the toys he reflected...

Nobi: It's like a dream to have them all at once.

But he forgot something that Doraemon told him...

His body reflected on the mirror, and then his reflection on the mirror turned around, giving a smile. Then, he walked out of the mirror and walked towards Nobi, and Nobi was surprised...

Nobi: WAH! W-who are you?!

Fake Nobi: I'm Nobita.

Nobi: (shouting) You came out of the mirror, didn't you? GO BACK!!!

But the fake Nobi pushed Nobi into the mirror...

Fake Nobi: You go into the mirror.

So Nobi landed with a thump on his rear end, inside the mirror, which was really dark. The fake Nobi pushed the button and the mirror disappeared from Nobi's sight...

Nobi: (scared) Ahh! It's pitch dark! I can't get out!!!

Back at the real world, the fake Nobi called Doraemon...

Fake Nobi: Doraemon!

Doraemon: (rushing) What's the matter?

Fake Nobi: If you're done with the mirror, put it away.

So Doraemon took the mirror and went downstairs...

Fake Nobi: Just once, I wanted to get to get out of that mirror. Now, I can play!

So he took from his closet a soccer ball and started playing all day. But his mom, well Nobi's mom, always say to him that he needs to do his homework, but the fake Nobi always says, 'later'...

Mom: Are you still playing?

Fake Nobi: I just started.

Mom: (carries the fake Nobi on his shirt) Since this morning, you've been saying "later, later", but you haven't studied at all.

So he placed the fake Nobi on his desk and started doing his homework, in a weird way...

Mom: (shouting) Since when do you hold a pencil with your left hand? Do it right!

Downstairs, Doraemon had some other ideas...

Doraemon: (slurping) I want another dorayaki.

He took a dorayaki from the box full of it...

Doraemon: I know! I'll just borrow this dorayaki, and...

He grabs the mirror again...

Doraemon: Multiply it!

After he pushed the button, the screen from the mirror world appeared, and while Doraemon reflected the dorayaki, a face popped out, revealing Nobi, crying...

Doraemon: (gasp) Do I really look this weird? (crosses arms)

Nobi: I'm Nobita!

Doraemon: (panicked) What? Then, he was...

Nobi: (shouting) An imposter!

While Doraemon tried to pull out Nobi from the mirror world, the fake Nobi went in with Nobi's mom, she was really angry...

Fake Nobi: I'm going back. I've had enough of this strict world.
