Chapter 12

I woke up alone in bed as I saw Tona sitting at his desk.

He had his laptop open. The screen was too bright for me to see anything besides a word that started with "r".

"Tona what are you doing?" I asked in a groggy voice.

"Nothing! I thought you were asleep I didn't want to wake up, so I decided to do some research on something that I've been wanting to look into." Tona said startled.

"Okay then." I decided to write it off because I was too tired to worry.

"What time is it?" I asked confused why Tona didn't wake me up.

"It's 9:30 AM on a Saturday Jakey." Tona said calmly.

"Oh oops." I laughed as I sat up slightly embarrased by my mistake.

"Hey Tona do you think your parents will mind if I just stay at your guy's house?" I asked wishing I could just say here with him.

"They seemed to like you. I'm sure they wouldn't mind if you stayed here. Do you want to go ask?" Tona asked.

"Sure let's go ask." I say happy with that idea.

We walked into Tona's kitchen to see that Tona's dad was up.

"Father is it okay if Jacob lives here?" Tona asked casually.

"Why?" His father asked concerned.

"My parents aren't very kind and are rather abusive." I explained.

"Oh in that case. I don't mind if you stay here. Just tell your parents that you are moving out and we will handle the rest by getting your stuff here okay?" Tona's father said kindly.

"Oh and by the way you can call me Mr. Otori. We are happy to have you here, besides you are rather kind and a good kid, so of course we wouldn't mind having you here." Mr. Otori said kindly as he got himself a bit of coffee.

I then quickly texted my mom saying I was moving out.

This is our new home now huh this will be rather interesting.

Oh god I'm nervous what if these parents don't except us either?

They will they were so nice before besides they are Tona's parents.

Yeah true. I suppose we shouldn't worry.

Yeah see! No need to worry.

"Hey Tona let's go out and do something." I suggested because I didn't want to just sit home all day.

"What do you want to do?" Tona asked.

"I kinda wanted to go to the mall." I said.

"We can do that. Do you want to invite Megan and Mia?" Tona asked.

"Sure the more the merrier." I said as I texted them both asking if they wanted to go to the mall.

"They both said yes and said they will be read in about 30 minutes so I suppose lets get our stuff together." I said as we walked to Tona's bedroom to grab a few things.

"After we could go on that double date you were talking about." Tona suggested casually.

"OH YEAH WE COULD!" I said extremely excited at the idea.

"It's cute to see you so excited, but don't hurt yourself okay?" Tona said in a calm voice.

From hearing that I could feel my face get red.

I know he is our boyfriend but it's so weird to hear someone call us cute.

It's really not that weird though it's just surprising, so that's why we are like this.
