Olivia walked into the living room and paled. In front of her, was a Moses basket and a lot of other baby stuff. Olivia rolled her eyes. "What's all this?" She asked as Rachel walked in.

"For the baby. She can't sleep in a drawer Olivia," Rachel told her. She saw the look on Olivia's face. "What?"

"You know that I'm not keeping her. She isn't mine."

Rachel sighed and walked back into the kitchen. Olivia sat on the sofa and rubbed the bump. Eddie smiled. "She kicking?" He asked.

Olivia nodded and smiled slightly. "Yeah. I think she is getting ready to come."

"You never know darling."

***
Olivia walked into school. Madison walked over to her and smiled. "How's my gorgeous baby sister?" She asked.

Olivia shrugged. "I don't know. Dad thinks that the baby is getting ready to come," she said. She knew deep down she didn't want to have the baby as it would mean she had to say goodbye.

Madison smiled again. "It'll be fine."

***
Olivia had been having stomach cramps all day. She didn't want to say anything as she didn't want to worry anyone. Olivia looked up as Tom walked in. "Oli, your mum and dad want you."

Olivia stood up and followed Tom to the pastoral care office. Kim was in there with Madison along with Eddie and Rachel. Olivia frowned. "What's going on?" She asked.

"Olivia, this is Justin Baker. He's a solicitor."

Olivia was confused. She just sat down. Madison took her hand. "What's going on?" Olivia asked again. She looked at her mum and dad.

Justin began talking about why they were there and how to go about things. Olivia realised that Rachel had set all of this up. Rachel looked at how hurt her daughter looked and sighed. "Naturally there is a six week process. Where the baby stays where it is until the courts decide."

Olivia felt a tear escape her eyes. "So you're telling me they can force me to keep the baby even if I say I don't want to?"

"Ideally they will want what is best for the baby. If they think Olivia isn't up to raising a baby, they'll take that consideration and place the child elsewhere."

Rachel shook her head. "No. If Olivia doesn't want to raise the baby, then I will. I'll raise it."

Olivia was shocked. "You'd put me through that? Really? You're meant to be my mum. Be on my side. But no. All you care about is making someone else happy!"

***
Olivia sat in the toilets. Kim and Madison walked in. "Oli, I know you're in here babes. Come on."

"Go away."

Madison sighed. She could tell how bad her sister was feeling. "Come on. It's only me and Miss Campbell here. I know how you're feeling Oli. It's not okay what mum has done. It's okay though."

"What? You think it's okay what I'm doing? Giving away my baby? To some complete strangers?"

Madison looked at Kim. They heard Olivia whimpering. "Ol? You okay?"

"Madi? I don't know."

All of a sudden, Madison heard the splash of water. She realised that Olivia was going into labour.

***
Rachel ran from the office. She looked at Joyce. "Call an ambulance. Olivia has collapsed."

Rachel saw Eddie. She ran over to him. "Olivia has gone into labour. She's in the toilets."

Eddie looked at Rachel. "This is down to you. That baby isn't due for another 8 weeks and all the stress you've put on her to keep it has brought this on."

"Eddie. Don't. Olivia needs us. Now more than ever."

***
Madison held Olivia's hand. The midwife walked in. "Hello Olivia. I'm Marie."

Olivia was in pain. She couldn't speak. "Olivia, when are you due?" Marie asked.

"Not for another 8 weeks."

Marie took Madison to one side. "The baby is breach. We need to deliver it now."

Madison frowned and looked at her. "But it's not hygienic."

***
The paramedics walked into the toilets. Madison looked up. "It's about time," she said as she saw one of them give her sister gas and air. She took Olivia's hand. "You can do this. I promise you."

"I-I can't. I'm too scared," Olivia sobbed. She squeezed her sister's hand. "Don't leave me."

"Shh I'm not going anywhere. I promise you."

***
Eventually Olivia had given birth to a baby girl. Madison smiled and kissed Olivia's head. "She's beautiful."

Olivia didn't look at the baby. She felt the tears pouring down her cheeks. Madison stood up and left. She saw Eddie and Rachel. "It's a girl. She's got the tiniest fingers and toes. They're taking Oli to the hospital to get them both checked out."

Rachel nodded. She knew Olivia wouldn't want her there. She looked at Eddie and Madison. "Do you want to go with her?"

Eddie shook her head. "I really think you should. Put things right with her. She's going to need her mum now."

***
Rachel went to the hospital with Olivia. The baby had been taken to be checked over. Olivia was tired. "Sorry about that. I had to register her for you."

Olivia nodded and laid down. Rachel sat with her and smiled. "She really is beautiful Oli. You've done so well."

The midwife walked over. "Hello you. I've just been to check on baby. The doctor said she can come up in a little while," she said.

Olivia smiled slightly but Rachel sighed. "Can we have a moment?"

"No. Bring her up. I wanna see her. Please," Olivia said.

***
Rachel smiled as her granddaughter was brought in. Olivia sat forward and took the small baby girls hand in her own. "I wanna call her Esmè-Madison."

Rachel frowned. She saw how Olivia was looking at her daughter. "Oli. What are you saying?"

Olivia shrugged. "After I got pregnant, I kept on thinking about how my life would change. How I wouldn't be able to go to University and make something of myself. But I realised. What you and dad wanted for me more than anything was to be happy. And I am happy. With my family and my little baby girl. I want to keep her."

***
Madison and Eddie walked into the hospital room. Madison smiled when she saw Olivia holding her baby. "How's everything going?" She asked.

Olivia looked up and grinned. "Meet Esmè-Madison Lawson. I was stupid to think I could give her up. I don't want to think about her calling someone else mummy. She's all mine."

Madison grinned and sat down. "Can I hold her?"

"Sure."

Olivia smiled as she sat with her family and her baby girl. She knew that nothing in life was easy. But could she raise a baby? Especially on her own?
