Steffani POV
My eyes widen automatically as I freeze in shock. You've got to be kidding me. I feel my mouth part as they all stare back at me. I turn my head to the light, praying its green to see its still red. Well fuck my life.
I glance to the boys, seeing Taylor pop his head out, "Holy shit. Nice ride." He smirks as he looks to me.
I raise my eyebrows, "Um- Thanks.." I glance to my radio, feeling awkward all of a sudden. The only sound as of now is Patrick singing.
I thought they hated me to the point they wouldn't ever talk to me? Especially in public? I glance around for a moment. Although no one is around right now- so they most likely don't give a damn. But still, I can't help but be a little surprised.
"More like nice voice." I look to their van automatically as I hear Cam's surprisingly soft voice. My eyes land on Cam, seeing he's smirking while sticking half way out of the drivers window.
I feel a small smile fight its way to my lips. I try not to let my cheeks heat up at the compliment. I connect eyes with him, "Thank you." I say loud enough for him to hear over our running cars, feeling slightly more confident.
He smiles at me, tilting his head in the process as he keeps his hand on the wheel. I look at him dumb founded for a moment. That was a genuine smile. I raise my eyebrows. What is happening this morning?
I'm most definitely not used to this.
I decide to give him a small smile back before I glance to the street lights to see their green. I feel myself smirk, finally I can drive. I grip my steering wheel before I leave them in the dust, leaving skid marks on the road as I do so.
Now time for me to smirk to myself.. Hehe.
I fully smirk as I look in my rearview mirror to see their van just barely moving forward. I grin before I turn up my music. I drive a few blocks before I pull up to the school parking lot. I sigh as I slow down and find a parking spot right near the entrance. I nod pleased. Helpful. Now I can avoid walking too far because I'm honestly not feeling it today. Walking I mean.
Or it could be just because I'm a complete lazy ass
People watch me as I get out, eyeing my car. I shut my door and look up, seeing people with surprised expressions or raised eyebrows at me. I give a small smile and quickly lock my car. I pull my bag over my shoulder before I simply walk into the school. I suck in a breath as I walk down the corridor and make my way to my locker to get my stuff for first hour.
I hate when all eyes are on me.
I collect my text books from my locker before I check the time on my phone. My eyes widen immediately as I see I'm about to be very late to class. I quickly shut my locker, throwing my bag in before I quickly run over towards French.
I let out a sigh of relief as I reach the door, slowing down as I walk into the classroom. Thank goodness I'm not late, Ms. Tondo would've kill me for being late for the sixth time. I glance around to see hardly anyone is in here. I raise my eyebrows surprised. Class is like already starting? I shake my head as I walk to the back of the classroom and sit down. I set my books down on the desk and glance to the clock, seeing class will start in like a minute.
I start taking out my notes from yesterday before Cameron walks in and looks to me immediately. I feel eyes on me as I glance to him then back down to my notes as I see him looking at me still. I let out a sigh as I start writing again, writing common words in French. To my surprise, someone pulls out the chair next belonging to the desk beside me. The person sits down beside me and leans back in their chair. I glance to my side to see Cameron with his hands behind his head. He looks to me and raises an eyebrow at me. I quickly look down to my paper as my eyebrows raise.
