Steffi POV
My eyes stay on Matt as he takes a seat beside Madison, nodding in agreement with something she says. A small sigh leaves my lips again as Cameron sets his hand on the back of my head, making me look to him, "Don't pay attention to it. You need to trust in Matt that he's a good boyfriend." He points as he raises his eyebrows at me.
I cover my face with my hands as I groan, "I'm a horrible girlfriend." I need to trust him! What's wrong with me? Gosh, I'm so insecure it's not even funny.
It's not like we're in a serious relationship anyways- but I mean I've always kinda liked Matt, so to me I suppose it's more special. My eyes land on him as she wraps her arm around his and sets her chin on his shoulder before batting her lashes.
A small frown comes to my lips as Matt grins, a laugh following shortly after. I knit my eyebrows as Cameron raises my head off of his lap before I feel four arms wrapping around me in a semi-squeezed hug. A small sigh escapes my lips as I raise my hands and pat both Hayes and Cameron on the arm, "Thanks guys," I chuckle, "But I'm okay! Don't worry about me." I wave as they break away.
"I think I'm gonna head to the front of the bus though." I let out a soft laugh as I raise from the sofa and begin towards the front of the bus.
I sit myself down in one of the white chairs, my eyebrows raising as Hayes and Cameron walk in as well and sit across from me, "Why is she here though? I didn't think any of the guys were talking to any girls." He lets out a small laugh.
I shrug my shoulders as I hit shuffle on my phone. A small speaker set across the room begins playing Tired of Talking by léon. Me too. I shrug again as I sit back in my chair, "Like I would know." I let out a small sigh.
How did she even get on the bus? We haven't stopped so far- I think.
I keep quiet for a moment as I stand and reach the cabinets, grabbing a popcorn bag before tossing it into the microwave. I glance to Cam and Hayes both sitting down at the table, "Is she trying to.. pursue Matt?" I question quietly as I face my popcorn heating up in the microwave, "I know it's a silly question, but.." I trail, biting my lip.
I shake my head, "No. Matt wouldn't do anything," The popcorn begins popping, "Be a little trusting." I mumble, more to myself as I turn back around to see Hayes and Cameron both exchanging glances.
My arms stay crossed, "What?" I knit my eyebrows.
A small sigh comes from Cameron, "On Twitter she's been tweeting him some stuff.. I remember Matt saying that they were talking awhile back but she had turned him down, I believe." His gaze falls to the floor of the bus.
I swallow as the timer gets set off for the popcorn to be done, "When.. when was this?" I question as I clear my throat.
"Just before we met you to tour with us." Hayes finishes as he keeps his eyes on his hands.
I keep my eyes on the ground for a moment before I raise my gaze to see doleful expressions written all over their faces. I suck in a breath as I feel my phone vibrate not a second later in my pocket. My eyebrows furrow as I reach for my phone before Matt appears in front of me.
He lets out a small laugh, "Hey, um.. could I talk to you?" He questions as he scratches the back of his neck, an apathetic expression replacing his smiling state.
I swallow as I nod once, "Sure, what's going on?" I question as I keep my eyes on him.
This can't be good?
