#POV of Dane:

*How could I be so stupid, how could I commit such a blunder, everyone will hate me, I hate myself in the first place and most of it, Hails hates me to the core* He thought to himself while he drifted apart inside.

Life doesn't always give a second chance and he was sure he wouldn't have one with her, regret flooded his heart and he dropped on his knees in the middle of nowhere from where he came, he held his head in his hands and wept out his heartbreak. He was drowned in shame for what he did,
This was where overthinking had brought him,
He knew that at a point his ego penetrated his heart and that word of 3 letters had crushed his hopes and burnt his dreams down.

"Hails, Ple..ease come back, please, I ne...eeed you...I" He hollered feeling his heart litterally in pain.

He ran out of breath, felt suffocating and his vision turned blurry,

"Ha..." He couldn't finish calling out her name and he fell unconscious to the ground.

"Thanks Hails" Phil said gratefully after Hailie helped him up.

She crossed her arms to her chest and looked at Phil intensely.

"So, he didn't tell you that he lied or that he was sorry?" She looked him straight in the face.

Phil: "I'm sorry..."
Hails: "Why did you do this Phil, we all trusted you!?"
Phil: "I didn't want to give you any hope about anything, wanted you to talk to him by yourself"
Hails: "Ohh come on at least you don't have to lie anymore, if It was so, why did you kiss me?"
Phil: "I'm sorry, I got carried away, I'm really sorry"

Shit... Dane... fuck! I NEED TO LOOK FOR HIM, he ain't fucking well" Hailie realised in terror of what might have happened to Dane.

Hailie bolts off from the spot to look for Dane while Phil follows her to help.

"Give me that fucking torch instead of playing Jim" groaned Stanley who was annoyed.

Jim: "Hehe sorry mate, chill"
Stanley: "Stop flashing that in my eyes lil piece of shit"
Rebecca: "Guys, be serious"
Joe: "Give me that torch for a sec Jim"
Rebecca: "What happened Joe"
Stanley: "What's that!?"
Jim: "Dane?!!"

"Fuck fuck fuck... Nooooo... get me some water Jim" Stephan shouted in panic.

Jim poured some water in his hand and sprinkled it on Dane's face.

"Daneee!!!Daneeeee!!" Hailie screamed running towards the team.

"Hails what the fuck happened to Dane!!?" Asked Jim horrified.

Stephan: "There's no time to discuss all these right now, his situation is critical, we gotta take him to the hospital"

Dane had still not gained consciousness and Stephan decided to take him back to the camp with the help of Jim and Phil.

"Girls, go back to the camp and pack up while we take him, and please be careful" Stephan instructed them while holding Dane by the waist.

The girls reached before the guys and they started packing up and removing the tents ready to load it into the van. Hailie had not quit crying ever since they found her. Rebecca and Joelyn move foward to her and hug her tightly. They knew it wasn't the right time to ask her about what had happened.

Rebecca: "Hey, come on girl, don't cry, the more you cry, the longer we gon take to load these things haha"
Joe: "Shhhh, everything will be fine, now drink some water so we can finish this as well"

Hailie nods and takes a gulp of water. At the same time came the guys who laid Dane in the van and helped the girls with the last few things. Without losing time they hopped in the van and Stanley begins to drive to the nearby hospital to provide Dane with the first care.

The doctor admitted Dane to the intensive care unit as he was having difficulty to breathe and his condition got critical, the team was outside in the hallway waiting for the doctor to come outside and inform about Dane's condition.

Stephan held the hand of Hailie and guided her in a corner where Joelyn stood leaning on the wall behind her.

"Now, will you tell me what happened or should I force the words out of you and Phil?" Stephan asked sternly not blinking even once.

Hails: "N..noth...nothing happened Steph.."

Stephan: "Don't you dare lie to me, I can already say much by looking at the state of Phil"

There was no expression on Stephan's face and due this Joelyn didn't even try to say anything in this conversation.
Hailie burst out in tears and hugged Stephan. He comforted her by rubbing her back and Joelyn went to fetch some water for her.

"Stephan, Dannneee....will he be alr..ight.. It's my fault, I should've understood him right awayyy..."

Stephan cared for Hailie a lot, he considers her as his little sister, but if she messed up, he wouldn't hesitate to make justice,
He pulls away to talk to her,

"Why is it your fault?" He asked calmly.

Hailie: "..."
Stephan: "Hails, I'm talking to you"
Hailie: "Dane lied to me and broke my heart, he feigned that he moved on and he saw how broke I were, I left from there and went where we went for a bath earlier and stayed there ever since it happened, Phil came to me from I dunno where and comforted me being my support and..."
Stephan: "And...?"
Hailie: "And we kissed"

Stephan closed his eyes in wrath and the way he closed his fist and glared at Phil who was already sinking in shame for his bestfriend's state, already informed Joelyn that he was about to burst the pods of rage. Fortunately at that moment came the doctor who seeked to talk to Stephan first.

"Sir, your friend is safe, he is out of danger, he just had a hyperventilation and this resulted in an minor attack," The doctor said while prescribing some medicines for Dane.

Stephan: "When can we take him back home?"
Doctor: "Today itself, but you guys need to take extreme care of him and make sure he undergoes no stress at all"
Stanley: "What could've been the reason of this problem?"
Doctor: "An extreme emotional stress I'd say or it can be hereditary but it's more likely to be 90% due to an emotional stress"

Stephan looks at Hailie with a warning stare. Hailie bit her lip and lowered her gaze in regret.

"The patient wants to meet Mr.Stephan Lewis" Informed a nurse who came out of the room where Dane is resting.

Joelyn and Stephan exchange looks of tension to each other and then Stephan pushes the door to lead to the inside.
