the mouse led him through a small hole.
"keep your head down" frederick warned luke, and he tried to keep his head low.
they continued walking like that for a while, frederick leading the way while luke trailed behind him.
lukes neck started to hurt, "when can i look up?" he asked. frederick hushed him and they continued walking.
about 5 mintues later, luke could just see a light coming from the end of the tunnel.
as they emerged from it, the mouse quietly told him that he could look up. lukes neck cracked as he straighted up, and he winced, but was distracted by the scene that unfolded in front of him.
there was plants and animals everywhere he looked. a huge butterfly about the size of his hand was resting on a rock in the sun. little bugs scurried below him, and large trees towered over him. the heat was extrodinary, he felt like he was on fire, and the air was thick.
he was speechless at the amazing sight. "come on luke" frederick snapped. luke looked up to see the small mouse motioning at him to follow again.
they walked down a small path that luke didnt even notice from before. mushroom grew along the edges, and a lake came into veiw.
"hurry up, hemmings" frederick grumbled "we dont have all day"
luke mumbled an apology, and they set off again.
