I sat on the chair in the corner of Lucresia's room looking at my chattered girlfriend laying there lifeless. It was only yesterday that she had fallen into this state but for me it seemed like weeks had passed.

Mrs. Good had urged me to go back to the academy but I wasn't planning on leaving my girl alone. I haven't eaten anything since last night but I didn't even have an appetite. I just wanted to be with her.

"Nick? Mom wanted you know that she called Hilda and Zelda Spellman so they could take a loot at Lucresia. If they can't help, she said she's informing Father Blackwood." Kennedy said from the door. I hadn't even realized she was standing there. I nodded as Kennedy entered the room and sat down in bed with Lucresia.

"She prepared you some lunch; I can stay with her." Kennedy said as I shook my head no. No way was I leaving Lucresia's side. This is my fault.

"Maybe later..." I trailed off burying my face in my hands. I just want to talk to her. I want to tell her I love her and that she is everything to me.

"Why did this happen to my sister?" Kennedy asked whilst looking at me intently. I looked away from the girl and to the door.

"I don't know." I whispered as she pursed her lips and left the room leaving us alone again. I walked over to the side of the bed and kneeled down next to Lucresia. She looked so peaceful, very different from when she was screaming at me. You're at fault. Should've been more attentive.

"Mister Scratch. Can we take a look at Lucresia?" A voice asked behind me. I stood up and turned to see Hilda and Zelda Spellman entering the room, followed by Lucresia's mom and dad. I nodded slowly and retrieved from the bed, moving to stand at the corner of the room so I didn't interfere.

"Can someone explain to me what exactly happened yesterday?" Zelda asked as she turned to look at me. My eyes darted to Mr. Good as he opened his mouth to answer. He didn't throw our fight under the bus, why?

"Well, she disappeared during witching hour last night and when she came back she was claiming to have summoned hellfire and she was too happy. After that she got up here with Nicholas and that's when it all happened." Mr. Good explained as if doubting whatever it is that happened last night.

"Oh! Yes, Sabrina told us about the hellfire situation." Zelda stated as Mrs. Good gasped and Mr.  Good shifted his position. All along Kennedy was frowning. I could tell she felt out of place. Hilda touched Lucresia's forehead and almost instantly retracted her hand and looked at her with wide eyes.

"So how did she go into this state?" Hilda asked as everyone turned to look at me. I smiled awkwardly and found the courage to answer.

"We were talking about last night and she suddenly started hyperventilating, taking deep breaths and looking around as if she was lost. I grabbed her hand and led her to the bed and she kept on taking deep breaths. She laid down and kept looking around, squeezing my hand; and then she closed her eyes." I explained as the sisters nodded.

"You did good not telling Father Blackwood." Hilda said eyeing Lucresia intently.

"What's wrong with her Sister Hilda?" Mr. Good pressed on as she turned to look at us and pursed her lips. I crossed my fingers for good news. I needed the good news, if something happened to her I would die.

"She'll wake up soon. She's in a power bliss; a power coma. Her body just realized all the magic and all the power it holds within and shut down in a reaction but she'll wake up, soon." I started breathing again as Hilda told us that. She's going to be fine.
