A day passed after the Dan incident and let's just say Yuki and Ryo were looking for murder after they saw my bruises last night.  They told me to skip practice today but of course since it's my first day of practice I can't very well do that.

During lunch Ichigo and I walked towards our normal tree and our normal places and I fell asleep. I jumped when the tree started to shake.  I let out a girlish scream as I nearly fell.

"Oh shit. Sorry Adi." Miyuki apologized.  I huffed and looked over at Ichigo.  She looked like she was about to cry. "What's wrong?" I asked thinking something was genuinely wrong with her.  She looked at me with a sad face and pointed to the ground where her book fell. I laughed.

I climbed down to the bottom of the tree and hung by my knees to see Yuki, Kuramochi, and Satan standing there.  I held out my hand expectantly and said "Book please." Kuramochi grabbed the book off the ground and placed it in my hand.

"Didn't know you could read a book Adi." Miyuki teased. I sat up on the branch using only my core muscles. "Not mine." I responded and climbed to my spot.  I handed Ichigo the book and she let out a high pitched squeal. I let out a sigh and tried to go back to sleep. I dozed a little and woke up to the my branch being weighed down.

"Adi, dude. It's time for practice." Kuramochi looked at me with a smirk.  I groaned and sat up.  Kuramochi gave me a weird look. "Why is your name so feminine?" He asked. I glanced at him. "Why's your face so ugly?" I made a 'o' with my mouth and made that somebody-got-burned noise that everyone does in class when someone got burned and slid out of the tree. I landed on the ground gracefully on my feet and took off running towards the dorms leaving Kuramochi behind.

I ran to my room and changed into my practice clothes.  My hat my dad gave me somehow ended up being placed on my head. I flashed myself a smile in the mirror before running outside.  I noticed Miyuki walking down the stairs. I slowly sneaked behind him and jumped onto his back.  He "oophed" but continued to walk towards the field carrying me the whole way.

"And off we go." Miyuki said as he dropped me on to the floor.  I squealed as I landed in the dirt.  My mouth turned into a pout as I looked up at Miyuki.  Before I could say anything I was tackled back to the ground.

"Ow." I stated emotionlessly.  My eyes wandered down to my waist to find Sawamura, one of the first years attached to my waist.  His face was buried in my stomach as his grip tightened.

"Oh. My. Fluff. Can't. Breathe. Someone. Help. Me. Please." I huffed with what little air I could get.  My body turned limp as Jun attempted to pull Sawamura off me.  I managed to slip out of his death grip and went to hide behind our resident short stop.

"Nice of you to finally join practice shorty." Kuramochi smirked at me.  I squeezed the pressure point on his side resulting in him spazzing out.  He turned to glare at me.  My smirk was my response.  "And look what short people can do to tall people."

Kuramochi lunged for me and I ducked under his arm.  I straightened up, laughing at Kuramochi.  My eyes twinkled with mischief.  "Dude, I grew up surrounded with older boys who wanted to beat the shit out of me 'cause I showed them up.  You gotta do better than that." I taunted, standing in the pose that said 'bring it on'.

The short stop growled and lunged at me again this time gaining his footing and chasing after me. We ran all the way to the back fence of the field and that's when Jun hit a ball that Tanba threw.  I looked up to see the ball flying near where I was.  My body reflexively took off after it and launched myself in the air catching the ball with my bare hands.

I landed gracefully and threw the ball back to Tanba before yelling out in pain.  "Oh my mushrooms! That hurt really freaking bad!" I ranted in pain.  The ground welcomed me as I fell onto the soft green grass of the outfield.

My attention turned to the boys on the field who were looking at me in shock.  I slowly got back up on my feet and walked to Kuramochi who was completely frozen.  I waved my hand in front of his face and said "Hellooo~" but he never responded.

I shrugged my shoulders and slapped him across the face as hard as I could.  My hand made a satisfying slap sound that echoed through the field, snapping everyone out of their stupor.

Kuramochi started yelling about "God damn. Holy shit. How could you? Why me? You bastard." Everything around those lines came out of his mouth.  I shook my hand trying to get rid of the tingling sensation.  When I turned to glare at Kuramochi, I froze and started to giggle.

My giggles turned into full fledge laughter as I fell to the ground holding my sides.  The rest of the team ran over to see what happened and they started to laugh at Kuramochi's face.

"What? What happened?" Kuramochi asked us.  My eyes met his as Miyuki leaned over next to me placing his forehead on the ground. "Fi-five star!" I stuttered through my laughter.  There on Kuramochi's face, on his cheek was a red handprint.

We continued to laugh for a couple more minutes before we finally calmed down enough to start practice.  They hit ball after ball at me and I fielded each one perfectly.  We quickly changed to batting were I hit every ball with the sweet spot of the bat.  I finished practice by running with the first years.  As they finished running I continued until my music began to repeat itself on my phone.

I stopped in the middle of the out field and plopped down. A grin played on my lips as I took out my Twinkie, I carefully unwrapped it and took a bite before a white blur knocked into me, forcing me to drop my Twinkie.  The white blob quickly gobbled up my beautiful piece of food.

A heart broken "NOOOOO~" came out of my lips as I stared at the spot my delectable food used to be in horror.

A white head rested on my shoulder and a small sad whine came from it.  I turned my head to see a completely white dog staring at me with wide blue eyes.  A sigh left my lips as I stood up, my headphones bouncing around my neck.

"Since you ate my Twinkie I guess you'll just have to repay your debt by being my new Twinkie! So that's your name and your my dog now!" I shouted while pointing at the dog.  He barked and ran around me, following me to my dorm.
