Just another ordinary day at practice. Yup, just doing some batting practice. Nothing wrong here.
You know, other than the semi-unconscious girl laying in the corner.
All the players scrambled towards the fallen girl, yelling her name frantically.
The bespectacled catcher was the first to reach her, even though he was probably the farthest from her.
"Adi! Are you okay?! Answer me!" He yelled, his hands fluttering over her body, not knowing what to do.
"Don't touch her! It hit her head." Yuki commanded as he approached. He kneeled next to her. "Are you okay?"
"The unicorns and gummy bears said I was fine." She mumbled and sat up dizzily. She stared off into the distance for a moment before her face lit up into a one hundred watt smile. "Look it's a purple kangaroo!" She smiled happily at that.
"I don't think she's okay at all." Jun stated. Adi shook her head. "Dey said I was finnnnnnnee." She attempted to stand but Miyuki shoved her back down.
"Nuuuuuu, I wunna stand. I'm finnnnee. I wunna shmash some balls!" She slurred as if she was drunk. She stared at Miyuki for a moment before giggling.
"You're soooooo coote!" She cooed and pressed her hands to his face, pulling him close. She buried her face into his hair as she pulled him to her chest. "Mmmmm, chu shmell suuuuuuu guuuuuud."
Miyuki blushed like crazy and tried to pull away but stopped when Adi began to whine and pull him back.
"Nu, bad Squooshy. Bad. Nu gu away." She mumbled, falling over onto Miyuki, who looked up at his teammates pleadingly.
"Guys help me." He begged. Kuramochi snickered and held up his phone, obviously taking a video.
Yuki sighed and untangled Adi from Miyuki, holding her like a toddler on a mother's hip, slightly bouncing her unconsciously.
"We might need to take her to the nurse." Kuramochi said, warily glancing at the girl drooling on their captain's shoulder. His older roommate slapped the back of his head.
"Bastard muncheater." Adi murmured into Yuki's shirt. Kuramochi let out an indignant sqawk and jumped up as if to attack the young girl.
Sawamura suddenly tackled him away from his second favorite senpai. "No hurting Adi-chan!" He yelled at Kuramochi.
"Wooooooooo, gu Sawamura. Woot woot." Adi cheered, attempting to do a dance but epically failing when she fell forward onto Yuki's shoulder.
"Is the world spinning or is dat chu? If it chu, please stahp." She groggily said, spinning around slightly. Yuki lightly chuckled as he felt around Adi's head.
"She shouldn't have a concussion if there isn't a big bump but someone get a flashlight." Ryo said from next to his brother, both worriedly/amusingly watching the girl sway.
She climbed up Yuki so she was on his shoulders. "I'm on a dinoshaur. Gu dinoshaur guuuuuuuu." She slurred, tangling her fingers in his hair so she wouldn't fall off.
"Moooosh." She yelled pulling Yuki's head back and shoving it forward multiple times. Yuki's expression turned from amused to annoyed quickly.
"Here's a flashlight." Kuramochi said as Masuko handed Yuki the flashlight. Yuki skillfully maneuvered her off his shoulders and onto the ground.
She kept fidgeting so Yuki had Miyuki hold her down. "Nuuuuuu, the unicorns and goooommy bears shaid I was finnnnne. Staaaahhhhp."
Miyuki struggled with her until he was literally laying on top of her, straddling her hips, pinning her hands to the ground with his knees and keeping her head still by holding her chin in one hand and the flashlight in the other.
"Nuuuuu, bad Squooooshy." She muttered as she knocked her head against the ground once more, making Miyuki wince but be grateful for her new stillness.
Miyuki quickly checked her for concussion and came up with a clear. He sat up, Adi completely still under him. "She's good. I don't know why she's so outta it." He delivered the verdict.
A sudden pain exploded in his groin and he leaned over in pain. "Ahhhh, no. Adi. Bad." Kuramochi yelled.
"I AM SUPERMAN. I SHALL DESTROY ALL DE BAD PEOPLESSSSS." She yelled, picking up a bat and swinging it around like a mad woman. She began to chase after Kuramochi, screaming about squashing the bastard strawberry man.
"DIE BASTARD STRAWBERRY MAN! DIEEEEEEEEEEE!" She screamed at a panicked Kuramochi.
She suddenly abandoned her chase and ran into the other field, disrupting the second string practice by stealing the ball from the right fieldman and running away from the boy and to the first string.
"Oi! I gut the dinoooshaur eggg! Dinoshaur! I gut chu babyyy!" She yelled running and jumping on Yuki's back, sitting in his shoulders once again.
Yuki reached up and took the ball from her and threw it back to the flabbergasted second stringer.
"What is happening!?" Sawamura yelled and fell to his knees, clutching his head dramatically.
"Wait, where is she?" Miyuki asked, looking around frantically. The rest of the team followed suit seeing as she was no longer on Yuki's shoulders.
"Hey guuuuuyyyyssshhhh! I gunna fly!" Adi screamed from on top of the dugout, preparing to jump the eight feet to the ground.
"OH MY GOD NOOOO!" The entire team screamed and rushed to the dugout as she jumped, screaming as she fell.
Miyuki tackled her before she hit the ground and rolled a few feet, protecting her head from hitting the ground. He rolled a few feet away but quickly scrambled up and to a completely still Adi.
"Adi, you okay? Adi?" Miyuki worriedly asked, taking her head in his hands. His heart began to drop when she didn't stir.
"Adi?" His voice cracked slightly. His heart soared when her eyes fluttered open.
She groaned as she sat up and pressed a hand to her head.
"Ugh, what the hell happened?" She groaned once more, falling back down. Miyuki laughed in relief and dropped his head on her stomach, using it as a pillow to lay down.
The team exchanged glances. "You kinda jumped off the dugout." Kuramochi rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly as he spoke.
"What?" Adi asked incredously. Miyuki let out a bark of laughter at her tone. "You got split personalities, Superman." He explained.
"Interesting. All we had to do was hit her in the head really hard once again and she went back to normal." Ryo explained.
"What? Explaineth to me." She whined.
"You got hit with a foul ball in the head and then you went crazy and tried to jump off the dug out cuz you said you could fly and now you're normal." Sawamura summed up in one breath.
"Don't worry. We got it all on camera." Kuramochi said, holding up his phone.
Adi snatched it from her spot on the ground, Miyuki actually falling asleep on her. She pressed play and watched the video, each passing minute she got paler and paler.
She snapped the phone shut and threw it at Kuramochi before slinging an arm over her eyes. Miyuki actually did fall asleep and had his arms wrapped around Adi's waist like she was a pillow.
"None of this is to ever be spoken of again." Adi growled in a terrifying voice. All the boys gulped and nodded simultaneously.
"Yes ma'am."
