"Diddily do, de dum de do!" I sung as I skipped down the hallway.  I had the best weekend.  First, we took a tour of the Chicago Cubs Japan Facilities and I saw all of my brothers teammates that I missed so dearly.  And second, we watched my brothers team completely demolish the Japan team.

I grinned to myself as I relived my weekend, not noticing the big brute leaning against the wall until my face slammed into the floor.

I pushed myself up, obviously in physical pain and glared at my assailant.  "You know, a simple 'hi' could've sufficed." I grumbled as I stood up.

Suddenly, a large hand grabbed the front of my hoodie and shoved me into the wall.  I stared into Dan's hatefilled eyes with indifferent one's.  "You and that little bitch friend of yours humiliated me.  The baseball jerks are gonna go down but I'm gonna start with you." Dan sneered as he got in my face.

"You know, you should really try a mint." I responded and kicked him in the stomach.  He let go of me and I took off running as soon as I hit the ground.

"Hey! Get back here!" Dan yelled after me, desperately trying to catch me.  He was fast but I was faster.

I slammed through the cafeteria doors and calmly walked in trying to calm my ragged breathing and racing heartbeat.  I glanced around the room, spotting my baseball bakas and Ichigo.

I rushed over to them and plopped down on Miyuki's lap, a habit that has started since that one day we named everyone's family positions and Ichigo slapped Yuki and I burped, ugh, that's embarrassing.

The regulars all eyed me suspiciously as Miyuki placed his hand on my back.  "Why are you breathing so heavily?" Miyuki asked me.

"Uh, I couldn't wait to see you all!" I lamely made up as I smiled at them.  Miyuki shook his head and turned his attention to the cafeteria door that just opened.

Dan walked in and sent a death glare my way.  I just stuck my tongue out in response.

Third person POV

"Ah, you must be Coach Kataoka.  Adi has told me about you." The older woman smiled warmly at the stuffy coach.  The small child in her lap stared shamelesy at the sunglasses wearing adult.

"Really now? You must be Mrs. Ravenscar.  Your son is quite delightful." Kataoka complimented.  The woman furrowed her brow.  "Loke was here?" She asked in confusion.

Kataoka grimaced at the thought if the auburn haired man. "Yes, but he's not the one I'm talking about.  Adi is such a gifted player." Kataoka dished out the praise, once again confusing the woman.

"Adi isn't my son, she's my daughter." Mrs. Ravenscar clarified, readjusting the child on her lap.  Kataoka blinked owlishly at her a couple times.

"Adi is a female.  She has been since she was born and still is." The woman firmly explained.  Kataoka was still trying to process the information.

The boy that has been playing with the team for a couple months now is a girl, a girl with such a talent for baseball, you wouldn't even doubt her ability on the field, much less the gender she appeared to be.

"Well, that's quite surprising.  I must have a word with her during practice.  Back to the originally topic, your daughter is a wonderful player and fits in perfectly with the team.  Honestly, I don't really remember what the team was like without her." Kataoka reviewed, finding it strange how easily he switched pronouns.
