Audrey

I finished my second to last delivery when I was passing by the huge building that Val was going into the other day. I assume he works there, so subconsciously I let my foot lighten on the gas of the car. That's when I saw the crazy man yelling into the phone and hang up aggressively.
I pulled the car over and rolled the window down to ask, "you are never in that damn building are you?"
His eyes shot up and he approached the car, leaning his forearms on the window. "We keep meeting in odd circumstances huh?"
"I think it's destiny. I mean how often am I passing by this building while you're outside of it?"
"Not often," he peers into the back of the car and catches sight of the pizza boxes in the back. "Are you on a delivery?"
"Yeah, this one is a little farther out. But it's my last one and then I'm done for the day." He looked back at the building and then down at his watch.
"Want some company?"
"You don't have to go back in there and finish up?" I ask, but unlock the door anyways.
"There aren't many rules I have to follow," he says, and takes off his suit jacket before entering the dingy car."So where are we headed to?"
"Maybe like 30 minutes away." He looks at me for a minute while I pull over to the side of the road and reach in the back seat for my purse and take my wallet out.
"What are you doing?" He asks and I held my wallet out for him.
"I didn't even think about the fact that we barely know each other and you may as well be a murderer! So we are going to switch wallets in case you murder me then they'll find your ID on me." He looked at me in amusement and shook his head as he pulled out an expensive looking wallet and I tossed it in my purse while he put my wallet in his pocket.
"But what if I murder you and take my wallet on the way out?" He asked with a mischievous look in his eyes.
"There's only so much I can do, Val."
"What are you giving me your wallet for then?"
"So you don't think I'm just going to steal your credit cards duh. There's really no reason for us to trust each other yet Val, but we surprisingly do. It's to ensure trust," I patted his cheek twice and took the car out of park, going back to driving. He let out a quiet chuckle for a minute and froze when his phone started to ring. He hit his head on the back of the chair and let out a groan much to my amusement.
"Don't wanna answer it?" I ask, sneaking a look at his annoyed face.
"Not at all," he mumbled.
"Here put it on speaker and be super quiet." He did as I told him and I heard a man's deep voice mumbling to someone else in the room with them.
"Valentino Price's phone. This is Audrey speaking, how can I help you?" My voice came out very proper and I felt Val's eyes on me as I kept looking at the road.
"Audrey? Who's Audrey?" The gruff voice asked in confusion.
"I'm Mr. Price's personal assistant. May I be of service to you Mr..."
"Price." I spare a look at Val who mouths the word "brother" and I roll my eyes before quickly looking back at the road.
"May I help you Mr. Price?"
"Yes, I would like to be transferred to my brother. I'm calling his phone directly for a reason."
"Ah, sorry Mr Price. But the other Mr Price is currently talking to a very important client right now and I'll make sure to notify him to call you back as soon as possible. Thank you for your consideration, and I hope you have a lovely day," I reached over and clicked the end button and put my hand back on the wheel.
