Taekook Oneshots {Requests Open}

Just Friends

This cheeky lil one shot was requested by the lovely BTSVismybiasforever 💖 thank you so much! 😇💕 I had loads of fun writing this. Be sure to tell me if you guys have any more amazing requests! 💌

Jungkook nibbled at his lip as he watched Taehyung embrace Minho, the smile on their faces as radiant as rays of sun. It did seem likely that they would run into each other at this party, but Jungkook didn't think they'd be so excited about it.

"Hyung! It's been so long!" Tae said happily, beautiful brown eyes sparkling. Minho laughed in response.

"It definitely has! Look at you, Tae! You look amazing!" This comment made Jungkook suck his breath in harshly. Taehyung must've heard because he left the hug and took Jungkook's hand, the boxy smile on his face not wavering, if anything it brightened even more.

"You remember Jungkook?" He said cheerily. Minho beamed. "Of course!"

"Well, we're finally a couple!"

Jungkook nodded along, trying to smile as well. Minho's beam stretched. "Aw, guys! I'm so happy for you!"

He turned right back to Taehyung. "Want to come over and get a drink?"

"Of course!" Taehyung said, eagerly following Minho. Jungkook stood awkwardly. It seemed Taehyung had just left him until he turned round.

"Kookie? Aren't you coming, love?"

Minho didn't invite me, did he? Jungkook wanted to hiss. But instead he forced a smile, joining the other two. "Yeah."

"So, Tae," Minho said when the three were sitting down with drinks in their hands. "Did you ever get that spider out of the bathtub?"

Taehyung immediately squealed with laughter whilst Jungkook frowned, confused. "Huh?"

"Oh, Kookie- Minho and I were on a phone call when I saw this HUGE spider in the bathtub, it was literally the size of my hand!" Taehyung gushed, still giggling. Minho laughed too.

"He screamed so loud that I swear my ears still hurt!"

Jungkook smiled politely, feeling a little left out. The feeling only grew when Tae and Minho began to discuss funny memories from shooting "Hwrang" together, both laughing so much they had to clutch their sides.

"So, whats new with BTS?" Minho finally said after what seemed like a lifetime of being ignored for Jungkook. "Where's your schedule taking you?"

Tae's brown eyes sparkled adorably as he took a sip of his drink. "We've been all over the world! It's amazing seeing all the different countries."

"Europe's my favourite country!" Jungkook piped up, determined to not be forgotten again. His face fell when Minho burst out laughing.

"Europe's a continent!" He said, sniggering. "Didn't you know that?"

Jungkook flushed bright red, wanting to kick himself out of shame. He desperately turned to Taehyung, only to see him laughing as well.

"Oh, Kookie, you should've payed more attention in geography class!" He giggled. "You're not the sharpest tool in the shed, are you?"

He turned right back to Minho. "Didn't you get an A* in geography?" He asked eagerly, to Jungkook's dismay.

Minho smiled modestly. "Yep."

"You've always been a mega brain, haven't you?" Taehyung said, fondly punching Minho's shoulder.

"Not as smart as you," Minho chuckled, punching Taehyung back equally as fondly. Jungkook stood up, unable to take another second.

"I'm just going to get some air," he said, voice small. Taehyung and Minho barley grunted in response, already back to chatting. Jungkook felt his eyes fill with tears as he left the room. He decided to just make his way home, not in the partying mood anymore.

"Jungkook?" Came Taehyung's voice as the bedroom door opened. Jungkook curled up on the bed, not responding.

"There you are!" Taehyung cried, giving Jungkook a shove. "Why would you just leave like that? You didn't even tell us you were going anywhere!"

Jungkook shot up, eyes blazing. "Yes I did! I did tell you I was going! But since you were so happy with your new love Minho you just ignored me!"

Taehyung's eyebrows furrowed. "What?"

"You heard me," Jungkook mumbled as he went back into his cocoon of blankets.

"I can't believe you could be so childish!" Taehyung shouted, grabbing the blanket and yanking it off his sulking boyfriend. "I haven't seen Minho for nearly a year and you have an issue with me talking to him?"

"N-no but... you ignored me and- and you said I was dumb," Jungkook mumbled pathetically, guilt overtaking his stomach at how angry and hurt Taehyung looked.

"It was a joke! Can't you take a joke anymore, Kookie?" Taehyung yelled. He sighed heavily, angrily taking off his jacket. "And you know what?"

Jungkook wound the blankets tighter around him as he waited for Taehyung to continue.

"You'd already stormed off like a 6 year old, but if you hadn't you would've heard me gushing to Minho for about half an hour all about you and how much I love you. And yet you still think I'd choose a friend over you?"

Jungkook was silent, feeling more and more like shit as the time passed. "T-Tae, I'm sorry..."

Taehyung huffed in response, taking off his shirt in favour of his soft pyjama tee. Jungkook nibbled his lip as he waited for Taehyung to respond.

"I really am sorry, Tae... I know you're just friends but I... I just felt a little left out. I'm sorry."

Taehyung's face finally softened. "Oh, Kookie. I'm sorry if you felt left out. But you only have to look at me to know that you come first. Before Minho, before anyone. You do know that, right?" He sat down on the bed beside Jungkook, taking his hands.

"You come first with me too," Jungkook mumbled. Taehyung smiled.

"Cuddles now?" He said, pulling the blanket around them both.

Jungkook nodded eagerly, wrapping his arms around Taehyung. "I'm sorry again, TaeTae. I should've just trusted you..."

Taehyung gave Jungkook a soft kiss on the head. "Don't mention it, Kookie. Just make sure you don't do it again, I don't know how much more of your Jeonlous attitude I can take!"
