Third POV
As Brad held Layla in his arms, as though he was indeed her loving father and Ellie linked her arm with his before resting her head upon his shoulder, the people in their company were in complete awe of the couple and child.
Brad's parents both loved the idea of Brad parenting Layla. They hoped that one day Brad would have a child of his own, obviously with Ellie.
They were so happy that Brad had finally settled down, and more so that it was with Ellie who they adored.
Layla was like their own granddaughter to them. They were more than happy to accept both Ellie and her daughter into their family.
Both Ellie's parents were also extremely happy that she found Brad, someone who helped her with Layla, accepted and loved them both.
Before Brad came along, not that Ellie was struggling because she wasn't, in fact she was possibly the strongest mother to graze the earth.
But now that they both have Brad, life is easier for Ellie. She has another set of hands to help support Layla and herself.
And as for Layla, she has the father figure in her life which she deserves, any child does.
Both Ellie and Brad are more than excited to see where their future goes. Where their journey takes them.
They both know for a fact that they want more children included in their lives in a few years time. And of course they both want to have a dog.
The two were strong lovers of dogs, more than cats. Layla had also became very found of dogs from such a young age, especially Brad's family dog; Jesse.
The bus finally arrived for the group, everyone piling onto it however letting the couple and child on first.
They chose to sit at the front of the bus where there was 3 seats, Layla sitting in the middle of both loving adults.
She wouldn't sit a peace, she wanted to be in the arms of Brad. She climbed onto his lap and played with his long, chocolate curls.
Brad knew that this is what he wanted in his life. He wanted to have Layla, Ellie and a child or two of their own in the future; a dog too.
Now, he couldn't picture his life any other way. Never did he think this time 2 years ago that he would be playing the role of a father to the woman of his dreams' daughter.
Truthfully, he didn't see himself settling down at this young of an age. Well that was until the moment he met Ellie.
He knew there was something about her, something different that he liked, something he had never found in a girl before.
From the minute he met her, he knew she had to be his. Whether it took months or years, he was determined to love this girl who was also his neighbour.
But what Ellie didn't know is that whilst Brad has been at work in the studio, writing and producing with a range of artists he has also been writing a song for her.
A song that he is hoping to preform to her one day on an acoustic guitar.
Although he doesn't know if she'll see the beauty in the meaning through the song.
Brad is afraid that one day Layla's father will return from Spain and fight for his daughter or also win Ellie back resulting in him losing both of his loves.
It's Brad's worse nightmare. Ellie has assured him a million times that it won't happen and even if it did she would always remain with Brad.
He believed her words. He did. He trusted the girl at which he felt at home with. But what he didn't trust was the man who fled when Ellie told him she was pregnant.
Even though he never met the man, he had a strong hatred for him. No woman should be treated like that. No child should be left without a parent, that is unless they are no longer able to be present.
He escorted his two loves into the restaurant and seated them at the table.
He felt as though it was his role to protect the two of the most precious people in his life from the bad and evil on the outside world.
Ellie adores Brad with her whole entire heart, it's obviously different to the love she feels for Layla.
She loves the way in which Brad and Layla's relationship has blossomed into a close fatherly and daughterly bond.
Truth be told, she doesn't know what she would do without them. They both changed her life for the better in different ways.
Brad makes her feel love, something she had never experienced before. He made her feel at home. He made her feel as though she had no worries in the world.
Layla however made her feel as though she couldn't be prouder of the person her daughter is blossoming into. Her cheeky personality never fails to make her mother laugh. The close bond between the two is magical; nobody could ever take that away from them.
They both know that one day, in the future that they will both say 'I do' whilst surrounded by close family on a sunny island.
They don't like a big fuss to be made over them. They are a very down to earth couple who don't like the spotlight being completely on them at all times.
They prefer to keep their business private to themselves. That way then nobody can interfere with the couple. Nobody can get in the way and potentially ruin what is special.
They both may have been a puzzle piece that has now been put back together and formed the magical picture which is their life.
Everyone has their flaws and nobody is perfect but to each other, they are as perfect as you can get.
This is because they love for who they are, that's the reason why they are in love.
