Wrote a new chapter to replace this one cuz I didn't like it but you can read it if ya want~~

Gabriel looked out the window, it wasn't a window as you would know it but it was something he could look at as he contemplated the situation, contemplated what to do and jut how far he was willing to go.

He heard it, it made his physical body itch and claw in his mind. He was the reason, the reason for the situation and what had led up to it, but perhaps what was worse was that she didn't blame him for his actions against her.

He had another future in mind a few days ago, a future in which falling had crawled closer with every passing moment he spent with her. He had been naive. She had made it all seem so simple without meaning to, he should've known who she was.

He heard her scream, not for anyone specific but only for the sake of it. They weren't going to murder what she had been carrying  for a few months now but anything short of it was fair game. The consequence had been damaging, not to him physically but his certainty had begun to waiver all because he couldn't see her as what she was anymore. She wasn't Lord of the flies or the demon he once saw, evil and disgusting, she had become something else to him. She was simply, Beelzebub.

"Gabriel. " He heard his name and turned his attention away from the window to face Michael. "Would you object to me speaking to that... demon." He could see her physically grimace at the thought and that had an effect on him he'd rather not adhere to.

Gabriel found himself in a situation he knew the outcome of. He had to play his cards right. He knew his actions had consequences so did Beelzebub, he knew everyone was watching him closely and wanted to know how he was able to deceive the demon which had not entirely been true, he also knew the thing growing inside of her was too rare to kill and would for the time being keep her from being killed but it still didn't still the pain in his heart each time he heard her agonizing screams, and yet he could conceive no plan to even limit her agony not to mention remove it without killing himself and her in the process, he was the only thing that guaranteed her life.

"Of course not, why would I?" Gabriel replied monotonously. It was a lie, they both knew it but it was how the game was to be played to live.

"Good." Michael smiled as she walked away. Gabriel heard Beelzebub again and he knew it was gonna get much worse for her and it won't get any better.

It had been a few hours, the time in hell stretching over a few days. Hell should've realized she was gone by now, why hadn't they even tried to contact heaven. Gabriel was getting antsy.

He contemplated walking into the room with Beelzebub, he contemplated setting her free, he contemplated running away with her, he contemplated letting her die and he contemplated falling.

How long does it take, how long does it take to fall, how long does it take to fall for everything you used to hate. She had been a demon, the worst of them and it didn't  make sense. Why did he want her, why did he want her to be okay. Why did he have the sudden urge to break through every layer in heaven to find her and stop this constant pain. What had she done to him.

Like  many times before,  he reiterated, she was always gonna be his fall.

Gabriel looked around, violet eyes shining in the harsh light and an uncommon pain like shame sitting within his chest, he couldn't  really be contemplating this.. could he? They were his family, his brethren, brothers in arms and she was the opposition, the enemy, the reason he fought.

She was the reason he fought.

He couldn't, she was carrying  their child and she was in pain. No one was coming for her, they wouldn't  dare.

Gabriel walked towards the screams, horrifying  as they were he  hadexperienced  them as worse, every pained sound reverberating  within him over and over until he reached the door. It took him a few moments before he found the strength  to reach out and open it.

Michael and another Angel Gabriel didn't  know the name of was present, Beelzebub looked as the day he had last saw her except for the tense jaw as she stared accusingly at him. The torture she had endured had not been physical but it preyed on her celestial being, they knew just where to put pressure after all, she had been an angel once.

Gabriel wondered when he had become soft, when was the exact moment he let himself feel like this but there was no answer,  just the taunting rare image of Beelzebub  with a faint smile or the time she had looked at him with so much vulnerability.  It had happened  once, once and he wanted to be the one to reassure  her.

That was so different than the expression she held now, he could almost see hate swimming in those eyes as she looked past everyone straight at him. She wasn't even under the illusion  that he'd  help, she knew what this was and that there was no way out.

"Michael." Gabriel stated, hands hooked at his back Gabriel stood emotionless. "Could I have a moment with the.. demon."

Michael narrowed her eyes for a moment before smiling. "Of course."

Gabriel watched as she left, he had to be careful, no doubt she was going to keep a close eye on them and listen to every word he said.

"Beelzebub." Gabriel greeted and it pained to even say the word. He didn't  deserve to, he had betrayed  her trust even if she hadn't meant to give it to him. "You know I had no-"

"Don't. " Beelzebub cut him off. "I knew what I got myself into, no need for... all that."

Gabriel looked away for a moment. He had a need to tell her but he knew he couldn't.

"Just promise me." She continued. "Promise me you'll look  after her.. you won't give her over to any of these other idiots."

"Beelz.."

"No Gabriel." She stated  harshly. "I know where this ends for me so please, promise me."

Gabriel swallowed  hard. He also knew where this specific path would lead, he didn't  want that for her. He didn't want that for their unborn child. They would only use it to eradicate Beelzebub's kind, they would manipulate  and abuse it's power, it wasnt something  he wanted for it.

"No." Gabriel stated, walking towards her. "I can't promise that, I'm not the one- she's  gonna need you." Gabriel took a breath. "Beelz, you need to act fast. You will only get this chance and I can barely call it a chance." Gabriel untied her the indents the to had made did not go unnoticed. "You need to run, now. "

Beelzebub stood, a little wobbly on her legs from not standig in so long and held onto Gabriel as she got feeling back in  her physical body. "What about you?"

"They're  gonna need someone to blame for this." Gabriel stated, Dragging  her to the door by her arm.

"I cant leave you, you know what they'll  Do." She protested weakly as she followed him.

"We have no choice, you have more important things  to worry about." Gabriel stated as he pushed her towards the way to the exit and turned to face his brethren and the consequences  he knew was coming since the first time he had went to see Beelzebub.
