I searched four hospitals. Four god damn hospitals. And he wasn't in any of them. There's only one more hospital in this stupid town and that's the farthest one yet.

My feet's killing me.

I practically ran all the way here and now it's dark and cold and very very creepy.

I breathe out a shakey breath willing my feet to move forward as I stumbled and fell, landing on my hands and knees.

Tears formed in my eyes when memories flooded through my mind.

Memories of our time together. When we were kids and when we called.

All those times he made me smile. The times I cried because I missed him.

That one memory where all I could see was his face, his smile and everything around me was drowned out.

The only sound that could be heard was his melodic voice as his smile light up his eyes.

Oh all the things I wish I'd said to him was left unspoken. I was too much of a coward to even speak. Not wanting to be rejected by the only person I ever loved.

And just like that the waterworks began.

I had to get to him. No matter how far or how long it took. I just had to.

Standing up on wobbly feet I ran in the direction of the hospital, determined to reach him.

15 minutes later I was in front of his room door, panting heavily. Trying to put my racing heart at ease.

All I have to do is push that door open and walk in there and I'll find him.

The guy I've been looking for for 8 years is on the other side of that door and I could walk in there anytime that I want but I couldn't.

I couldn't see him hurt.........

Not for the world.

"Hey. You're um-you're Stranger right?"

A small scared vioce said behind me. I turned around and was met with a beautiful girl around my age.

Her short chestnut hair was tied to a messy ponytail as if on a hurry. Her brown eyes was dull as if broken and for some strange reason it reminded me of mine.

"Venessa?"

She forced a smile on her face.

"Yeah. I didn't think you'd come seeing how late it is."

"How could I not?"

"You look like you ran all the way here."

"I did actually. Just a little piece of advice. Don't ever try to do that. It's really painfull."

She chuckled a bit as we fell into silence.

"So um you wanna go see him now?"

"Yeah I'm just trying to gather up some nerve to go in."

She looked as if analysing me, confusion written all over her face then shock.

"Wait. You're her. You're the girl Stalker was talking about, aren't you?"

It was my turn to be shocked now. I have no idea how she figured that out but it's certainly not good.

I signed. "Yes I'm her."

"Is that why you didn't call?"

"Yeah, I just-I just needed time to think things through. And now I regret every second i didn't answer his calls."

"Well I better go inside now. Can you please just keep this secret between us? Please?"

"Yeah but you know you're gonna have to tell him at some point."

"Yeah I know."

I turned to the door inhaling a deep breath then exhaling it. And with that I pushed it open and stepped inside.......

Only for the sight before me to make my heart stop.
