Surprise Me

The Ice Cream Parlor came into view and I grew excited. Emerson saw my excitement and smiled. The car stopped and we got out. Sebastian payed and we went into the parlor. The place was empty which was nice. "What would you like?" Emerson said and I shrugged my shoulders. "Surprise me." I said and he chuckled. "Vanilla or Chocolate?" He asked and I smiled. "Vanilla please!" I said and he smiled and walked over to order. I sat down in a booth with Remington and Sebastian. "What did you guys get?"I asked them both and they both smiled. "I got a sundae cuz that's the shit." Remington said and I smiled. "What about you?" I said and Sebastian shrugged. "I think it was a fudge sundae." He said and I nodded. Emerson came around the corner with everyone's shit. I took 2 of them out of his hands and he sighed."Thank you. Remington?" He said and Remington looked up and grabbed his. Sebastian took his and Emerson took his. We both got milkshakes which I was happy about. "Thank you." I said as Emerson sat next to me. "No problem." I kissed his cheek and he smiled. I smiled and grabbed my phone, I wanted a picture with my favorite guy. "Hey you." I said and he chuckled. "Yes?" he said and I smiled. "I want a picture, pirate." I said and we both laughed. "Okay, okay." He said and took the phone from me. I put my head on the nape of his neck and he smiled and took the picture. "Send that to me please." All 3 of them said at the same time. We all laughed. "Okay I will send it all to you!" I said and Emerson made a silly face. I giggled and posted the picture.

I then sent the picture Remington and Sebastian. The picture was too cute to not, so I made it my profile picture. I set my phone down. "So Tara, have you decided on a solo project yet?" Remington asked and I shrugged. "I mean I really haven't put too much thought into it, I mean sure I would love to, it's just that I would miss having people to talk to on the tour bus." I said and they nodded. "Do you have anything written?" Sebastian asked and I nodded, pulling out the notebook Emerson gave me. I handed it to Remington and Sebastian. After a few minutes, they smiled and put it down. "This is really good Tara! Even the drawing of Emerson!" Remington said and I blushed. "Aww you drew me?" Emerson said and I nodded embarrassed. Emerson took the notebook and smiled. "I drew it the night I met you." I said,  started getting shy at that point. "The crazy part is that it is on point." He said, flipping the page. He started reading the lyrics I wrote and he smiled. "This is so good!" He said and put the notebook down. I was blushing hard, I never showed anyone those. "Thank you." I said and continued to eat my ice cream. "Oh shit we gotta go!" Sebastian said and I giggled. "Where now?" I said and they shook their heads. "Secret." Emerson said and we walked out of the parlor to the Uber. Emerson was in the middle again and everyone just went back to the usual seating. I got bored so I started playing with Emerson's hair, twirling it and braiding it while he sat there and laughed. He took a picture halfway through, I laughed to see he posted it and tagged me. We pulled into some parking lot a minute later, but Emerson took his scarf off an put it over my eyes. "Is this the part were I get kidnapped?" I said and everyone erupted into laughter. "Possibly, I think you will enjoy this though. " Emerson said and I shook my head. "Take my hand so you don't fall on your ass." Emerson said and I laughed and put my arm out. I felt his fingers intertwine with mine. I heard Sebastian whisper "record this Remington." "Please don't kill me, I was actually starting to like life." I said and Emerson chuckled in my ear. "It's okay princess, I got you." He said and I smiled he started walking so I followed slowly. I heard a gate open and close. I felt the soft fabric fall from my face. I was met with the view of an empty carnival. "Oh my god, is this an abandoned one?" I said and Emerson nodded. "Fariss Wheel?" He asked and I nodded. "Beat ya to it!" I yelled and he chuckled and ran after me, needless to say I beat him. "Wait who is gonna operate it?" I said and Sebastian raised his hand. "Well I trust you so." I said and he chuckled and I got in first, Emerson following me sitting next to me and Remington on the other side. "I trust you with my life Sebastian, please don't kill us." I said and he laughed. "I promise." He said and he started it. The Fariss Wheel began moving and I put my arms over the rides side admiring the sun setting. "Tara?" Emerson said and I looked towards him. "Yes?" I said calm and relaxed. "When I first met you, I thought you were just gonna be a friend of mine or worse just a one timer. I'm so glad I was wrong. You taught me determination, and love." My eyes started watering. "I had planned this with your band, Palaye and Marilyn. All so I could ask you this. Look out there." He pointed out and I looked. Everyone was there, holding a letter. "Will you be my girlfriend?" was spelled out. I couldn't hold back tears and I covered my mouth.I turned back to Emerson and nodded. "Yes! A thousand times yes!" I said and he smiled and hugged me. Before I could pull away he kissed me, I instantly kissed back and pulled away smiling. Remington smiled. "Aww, young love! I'm so happy for you two!" He said and all we did was gaze at each other. Then Remington yelled "SHE SAID YES". Cheers where heard and Emerson and I just laughed. I can't believe he asked me! I can't believe I'm his girlfriend! The wheel slowly came down and Emerson opened the door to exit. I grabbed his hand he just smiled. We were met with a bunch of hysterical beings. Remington showed the video. "Aww look at the way he looks at her!" Marilyn said and I smiled and put mu head on Emerson's shoulder. "I will always look at you like that." He whispered to me and I smiled and kissed his cheek. I felt a liquid drip down the side of my face to find Emerson crying. I wiped his tear off his cheek. "I love you." He said and I smiled. "I love you more." I replied. The video finished and everyone was crying, even Sebastian and Remington along with Manson. "I can't wait till you guys get married." Remington said and I didn't even have to say anything because Emerson did for me. "Married or not, this women is already my wife in my mind." He said and I smiled. We all began walking back to our vehicles. Emerson and I walked back hand in hand. "You wanna stay on our bus tonight?" I asked him and he looked at me. "I don't see why not, but where would I sleep?" He asked and  shook my head. "My bunk is big." I said and he smiled. "Okay then." He said and I smiled. Our bus pulled up. "Emerson is staying tonight. Get over it." I said and everyone laughed. We walked onto our bus and I lead him to my bunk. "Holy shit, you really do have a big bunk." He said and I nodded. "I'm gonna go take off my makeup, I will be right back." I said and he nodded.
