As Peter stood up, he looked around and noticed everyone had left the room. He shrugged and made his way to the kitchen on the common floor.
When he got there, he went straight to the sink, exactly where he dropped the bowl. He could tell because it had chipped the tile right where it hit.
He looked up and saw Thor smiling down at him. He smiled back and took the paper that was being offered to him.
Wow, I figured we should've started off easy.
Now, here's your next clue.
Go to the place where we first got grounded.
Oh, that was such a fun time. You remember it? Anyway, on your way!
Peter smiled at the memory of their little prank.
- Flask back -
The two 11 year olds giggled as they taped up the plastic wrap to the door frame of Harley's bedroom.
Taking a step back, Harley screamed at the top of his lungs.
Tony came rushing in, getting stopped by plastic wrap to the face making him fall on his back.
They heard a crack and laughed. Well, Harley and Peter did, not Tony. And especially not Stephen, who just entered and never laughs either way.
Later that day in the hospital wing, Steve and Bucky walked in along with Stephen, all of them looking mad as all get up.
They walked over to Harley and Peter who were talking in sign language.
"What did you two do!?" Steve yelled, making Peter cower into his chair. At this, Harley stood up.
"It was just a simple prank. We didn't mean any harm!" Harley defended both him and Peter.
"You two idiots cost Tony a broken wrist!" Stephen yelled, this made Peter extremely mad.
"Don't call him an idiot! It was my idea!" Peter yelled, tears flowing down his face as his first words to anyone other then Harley were bad.
Bucky covered his mouth as Steve reached out to grab Peter, but Harley got in-between them.
"You two are grounded." Stephen continued, trying his best to ignore the fact that Peter, the choice mute social anxiety kid, just yelled at him.
- End of flash back -
Peter made his way to the hospital wing, his first words to anyone ringing in his mind.
He defended his crush. Of course he didn't know he liked Harley back then but still, it must've shown somehow.
When he got there, he saw Stephen holding a note.
"Ha, this time I'm not here to ground you, I'm here to give you this." Stephen laughed, handing a smiling Peter the next note.
"Thanks." Peter signed, taking the note to read it.
