"Peter we're home!" Bucky called out as he walked into their floor from the elevators.
"Peter?" He asked again when he didn't get a response. Not getting a verbal response was normal, but he would at least walk out of the room he was hiding in.
"Hey, he might be sleeping. We'll wake him up when dinners ready." Steve told him calmly, receiving a nod as they put down all the groceries and supplies for Peters surprise birthday party.
A little bit later, Tony walked into Steve and Bucky's floor, looking worried and tired.
"First, dinners ready. Second, have you two seen Harley? I can't find him anywhere." Tony said breathlessly. Steve shook his head.
"No, sorry. Bucky, go get Peter please. We'll be down in a bit."
Tony nodded as Bucky made his way to Peters bedroom.
"Hey, Peter. Dinners ready have you seen Har-" Bucky cut himself off when he saw the two boys curled up in the bed.
He sighed, chuckling at the two as he walked over to wake them up. He lightly put a hand on Peters shoulder.
"Hey guys, wake up. Dinners ready." He said in a soft voice.
Harley was the first to wake up. He slowly sat up, holding Peter in his arms as he did so.
"I'll wake him up." Harley told Bucky smiling. He nodded and left the room, closing the door with a soft click.
"Hey, Pete. Wake up, dinners ready and our parents are probably looking for us." Harley said calmly, rubbing Peters arm to wake him up.
Peter nodded, rubbing his eyes as he moved away from Harley and stood up, much to their dismay. Harley followed suit and stood up as Peter waited by the door.
"Let's go." Peter said, opening the door and leading Harley out the door and down the hall.
"Oh, there you are Harley. Your dad was looking for you." Steve said from the elevator doors.
"Yeah, I figured." Harley said, walking to the elevator as well, followed by Peter and Bucky.
"Any other hidden friends, Peter?" Bucky asked smiling. Peter shook his head, his social anxiety taking over, and stood in the corner of the elevator next to Harley.
Steve nodded, understanding that Peter was never really one to talk much around certain people.
(Harley: *cough* lies *cough*
Me: Shut up!)
"Harley! There you are!" Tony said, pulling Harley into a hug.
Harley groaned annoyed and pushed Tony away, or, tried rather.
He heard someone giggle from behind him, he turned his head to see Peter playing with Morgan on the couch quietly.
Peter may not have been talking, but him and Morgan communicated easily.
Harley smiled at the two and with one last push, got away from his dad and walked to Peter and Morgan.
"Kids! Dinners ready!" Someone yelled from the kitchen, it may have been Natasha.
"Okay!" Morgan yelled, hopping off the couch and grabbing Peters hand, pulling him with her. At this, Peter grabbed Harley's hand and they all ran to the kitchen.
