nari won't stop stealing glances at her phone. mari noticed how agitated her younger sister looked, and was worried.

"nari?" mari asked. "are you okay?"

"yeah, yeah." nari nodded, pacing around her bedroom again. mari worried that the floor might break down under their feet after all her sister's pacing. "why?"

"well," mari began. "for the last fifteen minutes, you won't stop pacing and staring at your phone. is there something wrong?"

nari sighed and went to her bed, plopping just right next to her sister and phone. "it's really stupid though."

mari raised her eyebrow. "why?"

nari sighed and stared at the ceiling. "yeosang and I have gotten a bit closer over the months, since he's been coming to the donut shop everyday, but we never texted each other. not even once. and well...I guess I just want him to."

mari grinned mischievously at her younger sister's direction. "you want him to ask you out on a date, don't you?"

"what?" nari jumped out of the bed, glaring deeply at her sister. "no! no i don't."

"yeah, right," mari smirked. "just admit it, nari, that you want—"

suddenly, nari's phone vibrated. nari immediately dived down and grabbed it, staring at it with shock.

"what???" mari demanded, looking over at her younger sister's phone.

"he texted me," nari blinked with shock. "i don't believe this. someone wake me up from this strange dream." her eyes quickly scanned the message before she squealed and buried her face under her pillow. mari yanked the phone from the bed, reading the text message as quickly as she could.

"'hey nari,'" she read aloud. "'i know this out of the blue, but would you like to go to the movies with me?' nari!!!" mari screamed and dropped the phone. "yeosang just asked you out on a date!!!"

"kill me now," nari mumbled into her pillow.

"there will be no killing in this love story of yours!" mari announced, dragging her sister out of bed. "i am getting you ready for this date, whether you are liking it or not!"

nari sighed at her determined sister. she escaped from her grasp and typed in a 'sure, i'll go' before mari grabbed her again and tossed her into the bathroom, ready to shove outfits into her hands to try on.
