Second Person Point of View

England. Boy, was it a relief. To finally be away from every person in that blasted school. The people who started rumors, fights, and even got teachers fired. Your parents couldn't afford to leave, so you were stuck in that pathetic excuse of a high school until you graduated. Graduation had to be the best day of your life so far, and you didn't expect any others.
   Until you moved.
You had been taking jobs here and there around the town you had previously lived in, and finally got half the amount money you needed to fly to England and buy a house. Why only half? Because your parents had made an agreement with you. You make half the money you need, they'll provide the rest. And it happened.
It hurt to see you parents cry, especially your mother, who barely cried at all. She was a tough woman, who had gone through a lot of hard times, some of which you had experienced, as well. Your father, on the other hand, could easily be mistaken as homosexual, and you admired it about him. Sometimes he would even joke about it, teasing your mom and claiming he had cheated with his best friend.
Once you had left the country, you felt a huge weight being lifted off your shoulders that you'd thought would never go away. To your surprise, your ticket was for first class flying. Do you know how expensive that is? Pretty fricking expensive.
Landing in England felt even more amazing. You were blown away by the sights, and was pretty sure you would never bore of them. You waited outside until you saw a cab. You weren't sure what they did to get their attention here, but you just did what you had done in America; waved your hand and took a step closer to the street.
   Surprisingly, it worked.
The cab pulled over and the drive flashed you a smile. “Hop in, kiddo!” She said, smile not leaving her face. It seemed forced, but you decided not to ask what was wrong. Her hair was brown and quite short, only stopping at her shoulders. She had baby blue eyes, along with light skin. She was a big woman, but not an unhealthy size.
You opened the door and pushed your suitcase in first, followed by yourself.
“Where to?” She looked through the rearview mirror back at you, awaiting an answer. You told her your address and she nodded, chuckling. “So you're the new neighbor.” This threw you off guard. “Huh? What do you mean?” You asked, utterly confused.
“I live right next door. Edd said someone new would be moving in, but I didn't expect it to be a girl.” She explained, a genuine smile creeping its way onto her lips. “Oh! I'm Kaelyn, by the way! Kaelyn Pierce.” You nodded, smiling back at her. “[Y/N] [L/N].”
You and Kaelyn chatted for a bit on the way to your house before eventually arriving. You'd found out that she had an older sister named Raven Stoll who was quite the flirtatious one, and a roommate named Caroline May; a tsundere.
Kaelyn promised to bring them over after her shift so you could meet them. You simply nodded and told her that'd be great. You payed what you owed and got out of the car, dragging your heavy suitcase with you.
You got inside and smiled. The place was already furnished, and quite frankly, you thought it looked great. It was a mix of black, white, and light blue, which went together well. It took you a while to find a bedroom to call yours, considering there were four to choose from.
The room you had chosen had [F/C] walls, and a mixture of [F/C] and [S/F/C] for furniture. This room, along with the rest of the house, was absolutely amazing. It was such a relief to see new areas, and to meet new people like Kaelyn. You hoped you would get along with the people across the street, as well as Kaelyn's roomies.
But, at the moment, that's all you could do. Hope. And boy you had a lot of that. It was the only reason you made it through high school, after all.

Hiya, everyone! I hope you enjoyed the first chapter!
Yes, Kaelyn is one of my Eddsworld OCs. So are Caroline and Raven. You'll meet them and the guys next chapter. Until then, have a lovely day/night.
