Said it wasn't time you needed
But it was honesty I wanted
So dejected I waited
As my time you wasted
So emptiness became my safe haven
As I hoped the hurt would become faded
But soon the truth was painted
And I was no longer conflicted
So don't be burdened
When my goodbyes I have bidden
